Banjo and Kazooie were enjoying a pleasant night in Spiral Mountain, and the bear and bird were discussing Tetris... but not like you would, as the two were playing a match on their XBox controllers using their Xbox 360 and their hold TV set, being right outside their home on a crisp cool night in Spiral Mountain.

"Tetris... it's the game where you put your focus on the puzzles and try to make the most out of it." Banjo started as he took a glance at the grassy terrain surrounding him, Kazooie being right behind him as he pulled up his yellow shorts.

Kazooie scoffed as she was pressing buttons fast while relaxing in Banjo's blue backpack, shaking her head. "So what? Why did you bring it up?"

Banjo murmured as Kazooie beat him at the game, prompting them to start up another match as he adjusted himself, sitting on the brown pavement surrounding his house. "Would you be able to use your skills to settle the Tetris blocks in at a speedy pace? Or will you fail to catch up in the exhilarating chase?"

"I don't know what you're going on about, but I'm beating you in all of these matchups, so I don't mind!" Kazooie laughed as she was quick to focus on beating Banjo.

The moon shone brightly down on the grassy meadow that was the Spiral Mountain area, with the actual spiraling hilltop overlooking everything from the middle as it faced the abandoned lair that belonged to the old wicked witch of grunting proportions, who currently was not there to give the bear and bird duo a hard time like usual.

"The blocks, colorful as they may be, come in all shapes and sizes. But trying to fit them together can be tough. A straight line of a square is easy to fit in, but the notorious blocks that zigzag?" Banjo asked as he rubbed his chin, the yellow jigsaw pieces he and Kazooie collected bouncing within the windows alongside the other collectables.

"Are you gonna keep asking questions, or are you going to let me beat you in this game?" Kazooie squawked as she flexed her red feathery wings, having managed to show off her domination skills once more.

Banjo took in a breath as he grabbed a nearby honeycomb and ate it to get his energy back up, rubbing his nose. "Much harder to come by. It matters not how much you drag, but how much you plan. If you go rushing in without taking in the context of how the blocks are set, you will lose faster than you could analyze the situation at hand."

"You should apply your own lessons to your game playing, because frankly you suck." Kazooie blurted out as she was quick to take a breather herself, counting all the various different eggs that were sitting along with her within the comfy backpack.

Several long minutes of intense gaming have passed, with Kazooie putting out sarcastic remarks and Banjo simply nodding his head to it as they were enjoying Tetris together. And the most important thing to take away from being in a notorious match of Tetris? Focus on filling in the spaces in the most appropriate ways. It just may be the life saver you may need.
