Happy New Years! Guilty Gear's story spans several years so some of these might just be all over the timeline from Missing Link to Xrd.
Sol Badguy
It was for a brief moment, but Sol could sense an opening of the Backyard nearby before the feeling vanished in a couple of seconds. Forgetting about setting up camp, he sauntered into the forest in the direction of the source. The kid can set up a tent without me having to tell him how. I think.
Sol held Junk Yard Dog at the ready in case whatever came from the Backyard jumped out at him. As he reached the epicenter of where he felt the Backyard opened, he saw a lost girl wearing odd clothes looking around the forest. Not this shit again. What's with finding girls in forests now?
He approached but kept a cautious distance despite how weak she appeared. If she came from the Backyard she could be trouble. "Who the hell are you?"
The girl seemed to brighten at the sight of him. "Oh, hello mister! I'm so glad I finally found someone; I was worried I would get lost after falling in the Cauldron. Everyone's always telling me I get lost even with directions but this time I don't even know where I am to start!"
Sol tuned out most of her blabbering. "Cauldron? You mean you didn't come from the Backyard?" Or is she just shit for brains?
The girl blinked confusedly. "Backyard? I've never heard of that. I was pushed into the Cauldron and then I fell here. It's been said most people that fall in don't survive so I guess I should consider myself lucky."
Yup, definitely the latter. But just to be sure… He strode up to her and before she could ask what he was doing, punched her in the gut. The girl instantly went flying into a nearby tree. That fragile huh? Guess she's not a Valentine then.
