Phineas groaned as he and Ferb relaxed in the backyard underneath the tree. For the first time in their lives, both stepbrothers were officially busted thanks to Candace.
But to be honest, Phineas didn't think what he and Ferb did was a bad thing. It was just something to do for today during the seemingly never-ending summer. And just earlier today, things started off well.
Sadly, when Candace saw what they were doing, she immediately called Linda, who came back home right away. Sure enough, she saw it, then banned the two stepbrothers from doing it again.
But that didn't stop Phineas from enjoying summer. He could always come up with something new, like go to the pool with Isabella. Knowing that, he looked over at Ferb and said only one sentence.
"Maybe we really are too young to watch How I Met Your Mother."
