Bobby laid his tiles out on the board so that they spelled the word 'zigzag' and then smiled proudly at the woman across from him. Her mouth gaped and she blinked a few times.

"98 points. The first 'z' is on a triple word score and the second 'z' is on a double letter score," he said

"You cheat. How did you do that?" she asked, baffled with his apparent ease at hoarding the z's and being able to actually use them.

"If I told you, you'd use it against me," he retorted, smiling brightly.

"Well, now I know why no one wants to play with you," Andy mumbled, laying her own tiles on the board, spelling out 'pen'. "10 points. I also have a double word score," she added proudly.

He smiled warmly at her. "Don't worry, you can still catch up."

"No, you know what, I think we should shake things up a bit. Extreme Scrabble," she said, fixing him with a competitive gaze.

"You're only saying that because you're losing."

"Would I really do such a thing?"

"Yes."

She made a face and then cleared the board before dumping her remaining tiles back into the bag. She grabbed his tray and poured his remaining tiles into her palm, flipping over the ones that were face down. She scowled and looked up at him.

"I'm surprised you couldn't come up with a word that had a 'q' in it, too."

He shrugged, smiling. "I probably could have if you hadn't taken my tiles. So, how is this 'Extreme Scrabble' going to work?"

She tossed the tiles into the bag and bounced it in her hand, thinking. A slow smirk spread across her lips. "Well, Encyclopedia Brown, we can only put down sexual words. Any action words that are put down have to be done."

He laughed and shook his head. "Okay and since you thought of it, you go first."

Andy pulled the right amount of tiles out of the bag and put them on her tray. She studied them for a moment and laughed. She flicked her eyes up to his, then back down at the board. Bobby watched intently as she spelled out the word 'aroused'.

A big grin spread across his face and he chuckled. "Given the nature of this game, I thought that was obvious."

She looked up and returned his smile. "Well, now you know for certain."

He took the bag of tiles from her and pulled out his own set, putting them in his tray. He mulled them over, rearranging the order of a few, before finally putting some on the board, spelling out 'tempt'. He grabbed the letter bag and replaced the lost tiles.

"Who's tempting whom here?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You. Tempting me," he replied.

"Never," she said innocently. He just snorted. Andy chuckled and replenished her tiles. With a proud smile, she spelled out 'kiss' on the board. Standing up, she walked around the coffee table and stood between it and Bobby, looking down at him slightly. He snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her to him. She compensated and put a knee on the couch as she closed the space between them. Closing her eyes, she kissed him softly, her hand coming up to rest lightly on his cheek. As she pulled back a little, she opened her eyes and smiled at him. He smiled back and pulled her the rest of the way onto the couch. Bobby glanced at the table and at letters in his tray and then leaning forward, he spelled out 'love'. Andy smiled warmly and then laid her hand on his cheek again, getting him to face her, picking up where they left off.
