Let me know what you guys think of this story in the reviews. It's a fusion world of modern technology of WATCH_DOGS in the real world, but with major locations and landmarks (some original, some innovative). Basically, its the world of Boruto within the present day of Naruto (in our world).

I don't own neither of these popular media franchises.

"Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze - Audio Recording Log Vol. 1. Entry 1," Naruto's voice narrated the title.

"Uhhh...Hi, my name is Naruto Uzumaki. And this is my story...and my overall goal..."

"To start off...this is my first time doing one of these audio logs, so bear with me if you can't understand me. I am a hacker. A person who uses a computer to gain unauthorized access to data in any system."

"Well, the more appropriate term is "hacktivist." The act of hacking, or breaking into a computer system, for a politically or socially motivated purpose."

"Yeah, a "hacktivist" is a much better term to describe myself now then who I was years ago. People use to call me a dork, a loser, a...nobody. In which, they're right. I'm a nobody."

"No, seriously. I am a NOBODY, but I bet you could say I'm a ghost and thus, I don't exist. Haunting those who have it coming for creating and supporting this corrupt justice system we live in. Heh, that quite ironic to say since I'm afraid of ghosts, but back to the important topic of this recording. This system is unfair as it is corrupt, especially to the innocent people that end up becoming victims of foul play because of said system we live in."

"A fine example were my parents. My parents were good people. Innocent people. They died in a car crash at the bottom of a bridge before I even started kindergarten. They didn't deserve to go out the way they did."

"You see, evidence points to bad driving. But here's the real question: What kind of car accident makes the car in question speed up, makes the power steering inoperable, makes the brakes blowout, and locks the doors automatically, thus trapping the victims inside said car as the vehicle hits the nearby guardrail that sends the mobile prison over the edge?!

"The prognosis and conclusion points to my father's bad driving. And with that, case closed. But I knew better, yet I couldn't do anything without any evidence...at the time..."

"Anyway, when you grow up to be someone like me, you can have a lack of friends and distrust for society and the way society is built on and how it handles itself these days."

"Like how I uncovered this conspiracy involving the Elders of Konoha and the Akatsuki, the developers and creators of the system known as ctOS..."

...Present Day...

Naruto was searching his parents' bedroom. It has been a few years since their passing and he was going through some of his fathers work from his former position, one of the best chief engineers from Blume since its announcement and opening to the public.

Until he stops short of the bathroom, in front of a walk-in closet. His dad's closet.

"Let's see what you have been hiding, dad," Naruto asked out loud as he walked inside. Looking through shoes, coats, suits, hangers and boxes until he was sure there was nothing left to look for until a white envelope within the corner of the closet catches his eye. If he didn't look onto the floor when he did, he would've missed it.

"This looks promising," Naruto said with curiosity as he jumped onto his parents' master bed set and slowly opened the envelope and dumped whatever inside out. The contents weren't what he was expecting. A manual voice recorder and a orange jump-drive.

"Let's see...here's the play button," Naruto said as he found the triangle facing the right to start the tape.

...Recording...

"Naruto...if you are hearing this, then I maybe dead and you were able to muster the courage to come into our room for mental support. Well, I guess its time to tell you something that may steer you down a path of obsession, isolation and possibly, revenge. So, be careful, my son, I want you to be careful as you are successful for what this recording is about to tell you and what I want you to do when you are ready," the voice of his father warned as Naruto knew that this just got serious, real fast.

"Of course, you already know by now that I've worked at the Leaf Village City location for Blume and its ctOS operating system. Well, one day when I went to my office, someone left a note on my desk with the words, "CONFIDENTIAL" on it. I unwrapped it and found a flash-drive. I inserted the drive into my computer and opened one of the many folder files of blackmail, corporate espionage, money laundering, cover-ups, etc. All of it ties to Blume, who has been using its ctOS program to stockpile and gather data on everybody. And since Blume has a headquarters in every major village/city in the continent, they can monitor everyone who has a profile in their ctOS system. All they need is a facial scan and they can identify you instantly, thanks to an update to their ctOS security protocols."

"Anyway, Naruto. I knew I was being watched the moment those files hit my desktop, so I quickly copied them over to an spare orange drive I had on me. The copy you have is my orange spare drive and I want you to keep those files safe."

The recording advised as Naruto eyed the orange jump drive on the comforter.

"Right now, the people in charge are thinking that they've won, and everything is back to normal. But Naruto as long as you have this drive, you have the means to blow the whistle on Blume. But you must decide when its time to use it, otherwise, everyone will think its unconfirmed propaganda.

Also, I bet you would want to seek payback on those who took us away from you. If so, then use your gifted knowledge of computers, programming and technology to fight them. And once you are done, make sure that the swift arm of justice put them in prison for the rest of their lives, but make sure that you don't get swallowed in vengeance too with the law coming after you. Your mother and I raised you better than that. Overall, do the right thing in the end. Please...Don't let our family name get pulled further into the Earth because you made the wrong choices in this one-man-war against Blume.

"We love son. Now go get' em."

"For you father, I'll do anything," Naruto said as he weeped with anger rising.

"And I WILL make all of those people who took you away from me PAY," Naruto swearing, payback vengeance and justice for those who are unfortunate enough to get in his way or end up on his hit-list.

"...And on that day, I promised I will bring this corrupt system down starting from the bottom and working my way up, one specified person at a time, one specified family at a time, and one company branch at a time until I control everything under ctOS and the people who use it within all of Konoha. I may have more control over people than I let on. Some more than others. But at the end of it all, I will control everyone and everything they have and anything they do. Believe it."
