It wasn't supposed to be this way. It was supposed to be slow, gentle, and special. It wasn't supposed to be in a dirty room that smelt of death, in the back of a run down old house. There were no caresses, just needy panic. It wasn't supposed to be this way, but impending death did that to people.
"I love you, 'Mione." Ron's voice cracked with emotion.
The door flew open in the quiet room, wands raised.
"I Love you too." Hermione's eyes didn't leave Ron's.
They never heard the curse. A green light ascended over their entwined bodies.
