SwanQueen Xmas Proposal

Emma POV:

I am stood in front of the Christmas tree with Henry and Regina who has been my girlfriend for the past year. I check the time to realise it was nearing midnight, the time we usually exchange gifts. This year my gift for Regina is special. This was to be the night I propose to her. The ring was wrapped up in wrapping paper so that she could open it… the clock had now just turned midnight and we all three of us started to exchange our gifts.

Regina POV:

As the clock turned midnight, we started exchanging gifts. I had a photo frame wrapped up with picture of the two of us that Emma has wanted framed for a long time… We started off with giving our presents to Henry first. His face lit up when he saw we had got him the rest of the Disney films he still didn't have. Then I handed my gift which was neatly wrapped to Emma. When she opened her present she smiled and told me it was just what she wanted.

Emma POV:

When I opened my present from Regina I was instantly in love with it. Now it was time for me to hand Regina my gift to her. I was feeling really nervous, I was hoping she couldn't see I was nervous. Regina opened her present and smiled in a confused way. So I took the ring from her and said "I love you and there is no other person I would want to spend the rest of my life with other than you and Henry. Will you marry me?" I could tell that Regina was shocked but I'm hoping in a good way.

Regina POV:

'Did Emma just propose to me?' I thought to myself. I was very surprised by this but also very happy. I don't say anything to Emma I just smile and lean in to kiss her which I hope she means this is my way of saying yes. Henry has now come over to us and hugged both of us. I guess that he's happy both his moms are now engaged. I turn to look at Emma and ask her if we tell the rest of the family.

Emma POV:

Once Regina asked me when we were going to tell the family, I said we can tell them whenever she wanted. Regina said she would prefer to tell them as soon as they can. So I told her we would tell my parents first thing in the morning.

I start to yawn and suggest we head up for bed. Regina agrees and puts Henry to bed. Then I head up to our bedroom, get changed, get into bed and lie there smiling to myself. Not long after, Regina got into bed and lay next to me and she said "So I guess we have a wedding to plan." I said back to her "Yes we do" and kissed her and then we both went to sleep for the night.
