This is a Harry/Hermione songfic based on the song "Someday When I Stop Loving You" by Carrie Underwood. I hope you like it please review and tell me if you have a suggestion for a future songfic or story. Thanks Peace!

One foot on the bus bout half past nine

I knew that you were leaving this time

A thought I had laid down in its path

Thinking that you might get off for that

I remember that night we laid in bed

Naming all our kids that we hadn't had yet

One for your grandma and one for mine

Said we'd draw straws when it came time

Hermione grabbed Harry's hand as he fought to get on the bus headed to anywhere away from here. He needed to get away and taking the muggle bus was a safe way because no one would recognize him. "Let me go Hermione! I don't love you anymore!" he said hoping that she would believe the biggest lie he ever told. She dropped his hand as if she had been electrocuted. He walked on the bus without a second glance knowing that leaving was the best thing for both of them.

I'll move on baby just like you

When the deserts flood and the grass turns blue

When a sailing ship don't need her moon

It'll break my heart but I'll get through

Someday when I stop loving you

Hermione went through days at a time on auto pilot never noticing what she was doing, just going through the motions. She became distant from Ginny, her best friend, and her family.

I bet all I had on a thing called love

I guess in the end it wasn't enough

And its hard to watch you leave right now

I'm gonna have to learn to let you go somehow, somehow

I'll move on baby just like you

When the deserts flood and the grass turns blue

When a sailing ship don't need her moon

It'll break my heart but I'll get through

Someday when I stop loving you

But how could she stop loving him? He was there for her, he cared for her. Well, he seemed to are for her but it must have all been a lie.

Harry Potter stood on the other side of town, not wanting to go too far but needing to be away. He was staying at a local hotel and was trying to keep his thoughts from drifting to Hermione. To her smile, to the way she leaned over when she laughed to the way she pushed her hair behind her ear when she was nervous. God, he loved her, but she was too good for a guy like him. He saw how Ron looked at her and how she looked at him. He had to admit, Ron and Hermione sounded good. He couldn't stand in the way of that. Even if she wasn't sure that she loved Ron, Harry knew. Being friends with her since their first year, he knew more about her than she knew about herself.

I'll move on baby just like you

When the deserts flood and the grass turns blue

When a sailing ship don't need her moon

It'll break my heart but I'll get through

Someday when I stop loving you

Harry and Hermione both looked out at the same moon and realized that, soon, they would move on. Soon, they would stop loving each other.
