"What was your first Christmas like river" Amy Pond asked, Rory, Amy and river and the doctor were all sat around the Christmas tree in the TARDIS
"What do you mean" River asked, she never really has a Christmas before
"I mean before you grew up in leadworth, what's your earliest Christmas memory" Amy explained, she really wanted to get to know her Daughter

Melody Pond was sad. It was evidently Christmas all around her, lights, singing and the Christmassy feel but she had nothing and no one to celebrate with, or anything to celebrate for that matter. Melody stood and watched the happy family's parade around in their New clothes and Reach out for their new toys and their biggest smiles on their faces. She was so deep in thought that she didn't notice a man come up behind her
"Hello" He said in a British accent
Melody turned around to see a man in Funny attire
"Who are you" She asked, Melody didn't get a lot of people approach her
"Smith, John Smith" He said in his best Bond voice "oh wait now that isn't out for another... so many years "he mutterd
"Well can I help you?" Melody asked, there was something about this man that bugged her
"Yep" John said popping his P
"Well..?" Melody waited
"Come with me" John stated
"Ok" Melody said, she had no home no one she didn't see the harm
The wandered the long streets of New York City till they approached a big blue box
"The Doctor has one of these" Melody exclaimed
"Who's the Doctor?" John laughed nervously; he didn't want his over to be blown
"He's a man who destroys everything he touches... or so that's what they tell m" Melody sighed "are we going in?"
"Of course we are Geronimo!" John shouted running inside the funny blue box
Melody stood in awe of what she saw "Wow"
"Time for wondering later Melody now follow me" John said her name slipping out
"How do you know me John?" Melody asked following him
"I don't" He stated, he wasn't lying as such he just wasn't telling the truth
The finally reached the kitchen "now sit down" John told her
He presented her with two things, Fish fingers and custard he sat down across from her
"Go on" he encouraged, Melody took the fish finger and dipped t in the custard
"Are you sure" Melody asked apprehensively
"Yes now eat!" John laughed Melody took a bite
"WOW this is amazing john" Melody laughed
"Merry Christmas Melody" John said tucking in
And that was the start of a very long night...

"Wow" Amy laughed looking at the doctor
"I know" the doctor blushed "all I wanted was to make her happy"
"And Im glad you did Sweetie" River smiled grasping the hand of her husband "im glad you did.
