You know, no one ever gives you a map. You just have to choose a path and follow it.

Some are dead ends. All of them have obstacles.

Even if they look promising at first. Even if the path leads you to a beautiful meadow at first. Because farther down the path there will be a dark cloud looming above you.

Even if you start off in a sunny afternoon. Because soon it will be midnight.

You see, there are a lot of paths you can take. But at some point, you'll have to climb a rock wall, where if you drop, you die.

You'll have to swim in a dangerous lake, where if you drown, you die.

You'll have to fight a wild animal, where if you lose, you die.

It's only when you find it, that you understand.

Every path leads to it.

Even if you have to climb. Even if you have to swim. Even if you have to fight.

If you don't fall, don't drown, don't lose-

The path keeps going.

And down that path, they'll be more obstacles, some big, some small. But that won't matter if you really find it.

It's not something you can see. Something you can take, and call "yours". It's not a possession, an object. It's not a place.

I didn't understand that until I realized what I was looking for was you, Ginny. Yes, that's right, the Boy Who Lived, Harry bloody Potter didn't understand that until 6th year.

I never understood that love wasn't a destination.

It's the way of life.

Love is life. If you miss love-

You miss life.
