Luna tossed and turned in her four-poster; finally, sitting up straight, she rubbed her eyes and ran her fingers threw her sandy blond hair. Then She pushed the blankets off of her legs and navigated her way threw the dark to the girl's dormitory bathroom. When she found her way, she felt the wall for the light switch and flicked it on. Then she stumbled over to the sink and started the taps. She let the water run for a moment then leaned over and splashed the cool water over her face. Then she groped the wall for the towel. Then she quickly exchanged the water for the warmth of the towel. After she dabbed her face with her towel then turned off the tap.
Once Luna had found her way back to her bed, she found Hedwig perched on her bedside table. Her white feathers were smooth on her back. Her eyes suddenly opened, and revealed her big yellow eyes. They surveyed the room for just a second, until they landed on Luna, who was frozen in her pose. They stayed like that until Hedwig hooted lightly but happily then flew over to Luna's out-stretched arm. Luna detached the scroll that was loosely tied to her leg. After Luna had took the scroll she walked over to her nightstand and opened the top drawer, and lifted out a little reward for the tired owl's journey. Luna petted Hedwig, until the tired owl closed her heavy eyelids. As soon as Hedwig fell asleep, Luna opened the letter, and read:
"Dearest Luna,
I couldn't sleep, so I wrote to you. I had another dream, but this one was more vivid, more detailed. I better not explain right now in the letter. But for the first time since Sirius' death, my scar, I woke up, it was burning. I'm scared that v… I mean you know whom, is planning something. I could really use a friend. Will you meet me at the room of requirements at 1:00am? Just send your response threw Hedwig. This will mean a lot to me, thank you.
Sincerely Harry."
Luna glanced at the clock which read 12:50am. And then glanced down at the words "this would really mean a lot to me" that jumped out at her. Harry meant so much to her, she couldn't let him down. She quietly crept over to her nightstand and took out a piece of parchment and a quill and simply wrote " O.K – Luna".
