"Trouble," said Robin as the alarm went off.
"Looks like someone's trying to steal the pink diamond," said Cyborg.
The Teen Titans arrived at the crime scene. The villain – should I say villain? – had its back turned to the Titans. It was short and wore a black cloak with the hood up. Robin opened his mouth to say a pun, but the villain spoke first.
"Let me guess, Robin," said the villain in a voice that was higher that expected, "You were about to say a corky pun. Thankfully, I saved everyone the pain of hearing one of your lame-o puns by interrupting. And now you are going to say 'Titans go!' and everyone is going to attack me, right?"
"Not if you give back the pink diamond," said Robin, angry about what the villain had said.
But the villain just snorted, back still facing the Titans. "You think it is that easy to get the diamond back? Wow, you are more stupid than I thought. You are probably a coward too. I mean, who asks thieves to give back what they took?"
That got Robin really angry. "Well why don't you turn around and face me like a man then!" He yelled.
"Robin, Robin, Robin," sighed the villain. "It is impossible for me to face you like a man."
"Why, are you a coward!"
"No."
"Then why don't you fight me!"
"I will fight you. Just not like a man." With that the villain twirled around, drawing a sword.
"Titans, go!" shouted Robin.
Cyborg paused. "It seems like an unfair advantage if I use my cannon," he said.
"Oh, don't worry," said the villain. Suddenly the sword the villain was holding was surrounded by blue electrical light. "I'm ready for ya."
Robin attacked with his staff. He made a blow, but the villain blocked it. Robin made anther blow, and was blocked again, getting his staff and the sword in a lock. Then the villain broke the lock and thrust Robin back. Starfire threw start bolts, but they deflected off of the villains sword and hit her. The same thing happened with Cyborg. His cannon blast deflected off the sword and hit him instead. Beast Boy charged as a rhinoceros, but the villain just rolled out of the way, and he ran into the wall. Raven threw a ceiling beam at the villain, but the sword cut right through it.
"Who are you?" asked Robin.
"I am the one of many names, but lately I have fancied the name Niyati." Replied the villain.
Suddenly Beast Boy turned into a pterodactyl and swooped down towards and villain. As the villain ducked, its hood blew off. There was a silence. Everyone gaped at the villain.
"I guess you weren't expecting me to look like this, were ya?"
The pink diamond is well… a pink diamond on display at the local museum.
