1: Arrival of the faces
It was a fine day in redwall abbey, every beast was out in the grounds eating their lunch. Fwirl sat with her friends Gundil the mole and Mhera the otter abbess
"Gundil would you like some more October ale?" fwirl said to her mole friend.
"oi surpently wudd mizz furl" he responded "thiz must be the best yet burr oi!"
"I cant disagree with you there I must say, what about you Mhera do you need some more?"
"What? Oh sorry yes please." the otter replied. Fwirl looked at her friend concerned, she looked over across the enormous abbey grounds to where Mhera was gazing and noticed Deyna, the abbesses brother.
"He's seen something" Mhera said "I wonder what?"
Across the grounds Deyna was tracking some paw prints. He could tell they weren't from this abbey simply by the shape of them. He followed them round a corner of the abbey and found a group of 6 beasts unlike any he had seen before. Their legs unlike most creatures, where completely straight. Quietly he picked up a staff and crept up behind them.
"Stay right where you are!" he shouted "who in the name of bloodfire do you think you are?"
"We are the faces of autumn" the leader said.
"any last words?" replied Deyna"
"yes, stick. Down. Now"
"So sis, what do you think of these guys?" Deyna asked
"I honestly don't know Deyna" mhera replied "I'm not even sure if their bad"
"well i assume they are considering they BROKE INTO AN ABBEY!"
"well said. Ok,send for them"
the group where sitting a dark cavern. they could barely see eachother.
"so Att what you planniOW!" said the burly otter
"oh my god Qiraj are you really that dumb that you walked into the wall?" replied the male squirrel
"oh shut up Atticus" replied Qiraj
A female squirrel stepped out of the corner
"look guys lets just explain ourselves i'm sure they'll understand I mean, they live in a peaceful dwelling" she muttered
"but SHEEZUS did you see that otter? i mean imposing much!"
Suddenly the door swung open and the otter from the grounds stepped in
"alright, all of you come with me."
Deyna led the band of creatures to his sister, Mhera.
"Ok first who are you all?"
They removed their masks to reveal their faces.
