Kimi ni Todoke
Kuronuma Sawako walked towards the river side waiting for Kazehaya Shota. Looking at around her, she realized that she had reached first. Sawako walked towards the river to see the water glistening and shining as it reflected the light orange sky.
The colour reminded her of Kazehaya's warm smile and personality. "Kazehaya kun…" She whispered softly.
"Kuronuma!" Kazehaya called as the grown dog, Maru chan pulled Kazehaya to her.
"Ah! Maru chan! Come here!" Sawako said as she approached Maru. Maru had become closer to her as he liked her for giving him treats.
This time, Sawako brought him a chew toy.
"Kuronuma, did you wait long?" Kazehaya said as he sat down on the grass.
Sawako sat down beside him and shook her head. "I've just reached. Maru had grown so much!" she said excitedly as she saw the full grown puppy chewed happily on the toy.
Kazehaya looked at her and smiled. "He's become much more playful."
As they both watched the puppy, they did not say anything.
Sawako started to feel nervous. What should I do? Its so quiet.
Kazehaya thought about what Yano Ayane said. "Its for Sawako's practice. Say Sawako."
Swallowing, he tried. "Sa…Sawa…"
Sawako looked at him and blushed.
"Sawa…..Sawako…" Kazehaya said soflty.
"Kazehaya kun?"
"Its nothing." He said smiling as he looked at Sawako.
Sawako felt relieved and smiled. Looking at her smile, Kazehaya Shota blushed and smiled back.
It was the end of their friendship, but a start of their romance.
