The access door opened quickly. Erun and his crew were greeted by a shower of laser fire from two Mando'ade soldiers, who had dawned their mask and avoid the spell of the gas. With two short maneuvers, Erun reflected the laser fire back to its point of origin and the two soldiers soon lie dead at his feet. Erun paused, bent down and dipped his fingers into the open wound of one of the warriors, then supped his fingers with the same tenacity and awkwardness that a newborn baby demonstrates whilst rooting for its mother's teat; clumsied by the blinding hunger until the first taste of mother's sweet milk has reached it's tongue. The body and head then quit their violent flailing and there is a moment of peace before the feeding truly begins. It was during this moment that Erun received a vision of recent memories from his sampling of blood. Erun turned to face his crew, but as he began to speak, they knew that he didn't see them at all.
"I am Martrol Vigel, Mando'ade warrior, and I have been assigned to protect this supply ship bound for Ord Mantell." Erun grinned, turned, and pointed his saber to Credfern. "There are eight remaining warriors aboard along with a Captain Jruark and the co-pilot. Take the men and capture the bridge. I will face the warriors. I want the Captain and co-pilot alive, and remember Credfern, all who are here are truly deserving of their fate." Erun told the men how to get to the bridge, and turning, disappeared into the darkness.
