Author's Note: A happy fic for my sad Anon… Another Neverland one-shot. Magic practice turns playful for The Savior and The Evil Queen.

Laughter
.
Seated by the fire, Snow rubbed the resin into her bow, testing the tension in the string and the flex in the bow frequently. She tried not to, but her gaze strayed often to the path where Emma had disappeared with Regina almost an hour ago. "To practice," Emma had said shortly when Snow questioned with a silently raised brow.
She remembered seeing the way Emma's hand had slipped down Regina's arm to take the brunette's hand as the women turned their backs on the rest of them by the fire.
"David, don't you think we should —?"
"Emma needs everything she can to get Henry back," David said.
"But Regina —?"
"Is the only one who can teach Emma about her magic since Gold's gone."
Snow came to her feet. "Still…they don't get along really. Maybe I should… What if Regina —?"
A flash of light draws their attention to the left. Immediately they hear a female shout followed by mirthful laughter.
David joins Snow in charging toward the location. Suddenly Emma bursts through the bush ahead and jumps with a turn and a laugh. Her hand is outstretched and a ball of magic slides from her hand and flies behind her.
"Too slow, Regina!" The blonde laughs again.
A responding bolt of magic bursts through the trees and Emma ducks. She straightens to yell that Regina missed when she suddenly sees Snow and David in front of her.
With a surprisingly casual flip of her hand, the magic ball is turning in its arc of flight and aiming now for Emma's head. She catches it easily and presses it out of existence between her palms. "Oh hey guys. You all right?"
Snow frowns. "Yes, Emma, what —?"
Regina breaks through the tree line and runs into Emma's back. Snow was prepared to deal with many things from Regina, but the woman's reaction absolutely drops her jaw. The woman's color is high and she is smiling widely. Regina bounces off Emma and pauses only to dust off her clothes.
"Miss Swan, why did you stop?" There is a strange quality to Regina's voice. Snow almost doesn't recognize it. Then, when Emma turns and smiles at Regina she does: girlish laughter.
"The 'rents," Emma replies to Regina, looking over her shoulder before turning to face the woman with flyaway hair and a brilliant smile.
Regina rolls her eyes and throaty laughter follows. "Come, Miss Swan." Regina reaches out and takes Emma's hand, leading the woman away even as Emma tosses a sheepish grin over her shoulder. "Sorry. Practice makes perfect, y'know?"
