Snake Eyes

The feeling of dread that comes over most when they arrive at a new school. Having to make new friends and get used to new ways. Ulka, a half German-half Canadian abnormally red eyed female was completely used to it for she had switched from school to school for various reasons.

Walking through the marble hall, clutching her books to her chest tighter with each step she stopped in front of what was supposed to be her new locker at Watson Academy. This was where the most intelligent, well mannered, including the rich would attend. The ever so large school, but looks can be deceiving right? Of course, the outlook was that this was a dream school but actually, it was just like every other school out there. There were the 'popular' ones who believed they ruled over everyone, the supposed bad-boys, the los- not so high on the meter people and all that. The only thing that seemingly separated this school from the others would be..the decorations? Who knows, all schools seem the same anyways.

Twisting the lock, she opened the locker door. Looking around, the hall did have a few there but none payed much attention to her which she greatly appreciated. Quietly, slipping out a black framed hand mirror that fashioned two gems at the top making it look like somewhat eyes she carefully placed it into the locker. That mirror was by far one of her most prized possessions. She called it the Cursed Glass or simply Looking thingy. Ulka wasn't exactly the most normal person of the bunch so it was to be expected.

Closing the locker and staring down at her schedule it read: English Literature, Room 22 A.

Well, she did get a book that held a map of the school in it and frankly, she memorized it with ease but alas, she did get mixed up here or there until she finally reached the class surprisingly early. Sighing softly, she moved some of the blond strands off her shoulders, making them bounce along her waist. This was something she did regularly, including patting the plait that came across the top of her head like a headband when she was nervous. Knocking softly on the door and opening it she scanned the classroom before having her eyes land on her teacher.

"You are Ulka correct?" The ginger haired woman smiled, it was fake. It was a pretty convincing smile but being who she is, the red eyed girl could actually see how much that teacher just wanted to get the class over with so she played along.

"Yes that's me. Good morning Miss..." She trailed off hoping that a name would be given so she could just sit down at finished the school day. Honestly, she could care less about the school. She had another purpose.

"Miss Milfred." Came the reply "You may sit next to Viktoriya." As if on cue, a girl with hair almost as white as snow and emotionless blue-purple eyes raised her hand to indicate that that was where the new girl was to be seated.
