Summary: Emma is caught between magic training from Rumple and training from Regina (who she'd rather teach her anyway). Both are slave driver teachers though and Emma finally has had enough. She bursts into song at Regina… [Adapted Lyrics from "Show Me" (My Fair Lady)] Italics are the character singing.
Spells, Spells, Spells
.
Emma: Spells, Spells, spells
I'm so sick of spells
I get spells all day through
First from him, now from you
Is that all you witches can do?
Don't talk of pulling stars down from above
If I use love, show me
Tell me no dreams, filled with desire
If you want fire, show me
Regina: If you'll just take a moment to learn…
Emma: Never do I want to hear another spell
There isn't one I haven't heard
Here we are together in what feels like a dream
Say "one more spell" and I'll scream
Sing me no song, read me no rhyme
Don't waste my time, show me
Don't say how much, show me
Don't wait until wrinkles and lines
Pop out all over my brow, show me now
Regina: Miss Swan.
Emma: My name's Emma, come on!
Emma Swan. I'm not a Charming.
I'm not an idiot. I'm the other mother to our son
Regina. Yes, ours! Yours and mine!
I'm done with Rumple's secret agenda this time.
I have two hands and apparently a crapload
of magic waiting to be used, so SHOW ME HOW!
.
Emma grabs Regina's upper arms and her magic begins to channel through the brunette woman. The air around them swirls white-gold and purple.
Regina grasps Emma's forearms in return and the magic shoots sideways out of their arms, funneling through a porthole. An explosion is heard next.
Above deck, the clatter of feet accompanies Emma and Regina rushing to the porthole. On the island, a fire has started.
Regina: Emma! Henry's there!
Emma: Then let's go get him!
Emma grabs Regina and in the blink of an eye they vanish from the ship. Emma and Regina reappear on the shore of the island in the middle of the flaming trees. Regina looks back to see the ship in the distance with Snow, Charming, and Hook on deck. Even Rumple is leaning on his cane staring at them. She tucks her hair behind her ears and looks back at Emma.
Regina: Emma, I don't know about this…
Emma: You and me, Regina, we are Henry's parents. Trust me.
Emma leans in and kisses Regina. Regina is surprised, pained, hopeful...
Regina: (whispers) Show me how.
