Oh Virginia

He sneered down at her freckled face which glared malevolently at him. HTe scene was so familiar taht the passing third year student didn't pay them any mind. As soon as the student was past, the redhead pulled the blonde into a passionate kiss. The Slytherin returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist and guiding her into the empty room they had been heading to when the third year had come by.

Ginny broke the kiss and leaned against the desk.

"Do you ever get tired of this?" she asked.

"What?" Draco grinned, leaning forward. "Kissing you? No." He kissed her again.

SHe gently pushed him away. "No, I mean this hiding."

"Well, darling, I rather like being alieve and I entertain no hope that your siblings will let me live when they find out we've been dating."

"Draco, I hate to say it, but I can't do this anymore. I love you. God knows I love you. And God knows it's been fun. But I need something more than fun."

"I love you GInny, you know that."

"Love was never the problem. I need someone who can stand by me. Some one not afraid to hold my hand."

"Are you breaking up with me?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, Draco. But yes." With tears coursing down her cheeks, she kissed him, and was gone.

Draco was lost. He had been for the week since Ginny had broken up with him. The greatest thing in his life was gone, sitting at the Gryffindor table, letting Seamus Finnegan flirt with her. Blind rage brought him to his feet and onto the table. His goal had been to climb over the tables and beat Finnegan to a bloody pulp. But now, looking into Virginia's hazel eyes, he knew what she meant. A Muggle song sprung to his head and, after a few quick modifications, he began to sing.

"Oh, Virginia, you're breaking my heart

You're shaking my confidence daily

Oh Virginia I'm down on my knees

I'm begging you please, to come home."

He jumped the gap, landing lightly on the Gryffindor table. He strutted down the table, singing.

"Making love to Virginia in the afternoon,

Up in my bed room..."

He glanced at Weasley, who glared and turned red.

"I get up to wash my face,

When I come back to bed,

Some one's taken my place."

By now he had reached Ginny and sneered down at Finnegan.

"Oh, Virginia, you're breaking my heart

You're shaking my confidence daily

Oh Virginia I'm down on my knees

I'm begging you please, to come home."

He held out his hand. After a moment of consideration, she grinned and took his hand. He pulled her up onto the table.

"Jubilation!

She love me again!

I've got her back and I like it!"

What ever else he might have said was cut off when Ginny kissed him.
