I've been inactive for awhile but don't worry I am back now I went back reread through this changed a couple things and added on.
The night air was chilly as seven people stood around a red haired violet eyed woman, the woman in question was giving birth. One of these people was a seven year old blonde with black streaks running here and there.
"Naruto sweetie stop looking so scared mommy's fine" the red haired women who was currently demolishing her husband's hand. Now Naruto was by no means dumb he knew that his mother was putting on a brave front for him.
He gave her a reassuring smile before she let out another scream. A child was being held by one of the four nurses in the room who was wrapping the baby in a blue blanket, the nurses began to relax thinking it was over boy were they wrong. Naruto at his age already knew that he was a sensor and right now he was sensing two more chakra signatures coming from his mom.
Two more kids later and one Kushina Uzumaki Namikaze was worn out but refused to rest without holding at least one of her newborns. Naruto while holding one of his new siblings got a feeling of danger before the baby in his arms was gone, snatched away by a masked man.
Everyone in the room went on high alert the remaining children including Naruto were pushed behind the adults. The masked man began threatening to kill the baby before he threw it up disappearing with the young blondes mother.
When Kushina disappeared Minato got all his children and hiraishined them to the hokages tower putting them in the not so caring hands of a teenage Kakashi before flashing out. After Minato left everyone felt the earth rumble and before long loud growls and a menacing chakra filled the air Kakashi immediately took off after dumping Naruto and his siblings into the hands a random anbu member.
Naruto stayed silent fearing for his parents noticing his newest family members crying prompting the Anbu member to try and consul all of them never noticing Naruto walk out the door silently before he took off outside just to see the biggest Fox ever.
Already regreting his choice of coming outside but too stubborn to run back in Naruto ran straight to the area where he saw his dad's yellow flashes when he got there what he saw was the Fox getting ready to pierce both his parents through their stomachs. The sight making Naruto mad causing his eyes to subconsciously turn red with three black tomoes around a circle "LEAVE THEM ALONE" Naruto screamed causing the Fox to stop and look at the kid noticing his eyes the creature glared down at him with unrestrained rage, that small moment was enough for Minato to seal the Fox away into two of his newborn children.
After the sealing was over Minato grabbed Naruto screaming "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING YOUNG MAN TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF AND WHERE ARE YOUR SIBLINGS" Naruto was shocked he was never yelled at before and looked at his mother for help but she too had a glare of her own "I-i w-wanted to help" Naruto said looking at the ground causing their glares to soften. Minato pulled him into a hug "We just worry okay" said Minato softly before he released the hug and hirashined to his youngest.
Kushina beckoned Naruto over before she showing him one of his new siblings who was gently wrapped in an orange blanket. Kushina let Naruto hold her "We named her Mito after my grandmother figure" Naruto liked that name "And we named this one" Kushina said holding up the baby in her hands "Natsuki" Minato walked up to them with another baby "and this is Asura" Naruto was happy about having new family members If only he knew then what he knew now.
~Seven years later~
Over the next seven years Naruto has grown a lot he is now only an inch shorter than his best friend Itachi Uchiha his hair has gotten longer but not by much and the black streaks in his hair turned from black to red much to the shock of everyone that knew him. He now wore a white full-length kimono with high collars, two swords which were strapped to his sides completed with a staff on his back.
Itachi and him had made chunin literally weeks after passing the academy. Naruto after the triplets were born was pretty much ignored by his parents, mocked by his two sisters the second they learned to speak his only saving grace was that his brother idolized him. Naruto has no patience for his sisters he doesn't hate them he just doesn't like them the only one in his family he genuinely liked was his younger brother. Naruto is thinking of taking him on as an apprentice as soon as he gets through the academy. Another new feature Naruto was is the Sharingan which he realized he had at the age of 11, he found this out after him and Itachi had a falling out with a couple of older chunins who were saying that Naruto only got to the rank he is now because of his father's influence as hokage.
~Flashback~
They all walked to an open field of grass Naruto and Itachi were silent while the trio of older chunins which consisted of a Hyuga,Inuzuka and one clan less shinobi. During the walk the older chunins kept taunting them with threats forcing the boys into a fight. Itachi wanted the Hyuga so that left Naruto with the Inuzuka and the random chunin "well make it easier for you and go one on one" the Inuzuka said with his clans cocky like attitudes "Ill go first he doesn't look like much" the same Inuzuka said again walking towards Naruto with his ninken in tow. the dog was huge it reached up to Naruto's waist and had brown fur and came fully equipped with huge canines.
"Having cold feet" Inuzuka kept taunting in a teasing manner while his dog growled almost mockingly. Naruto with an emotionless mask unsealed a black staff that had seven rings three on each side and one at the top.
Taking that as a sign that the battle had started the Inuzuka rushed at Naruto with his partner in tow Beast Human Clone the Inuzuka shouted his dog turned into a carbon copy of him. They then started jumping over each other before they both started spinning rapidly heading for Naruto Fang Passing Fang Naruto smashing his staff into the ground mouthed Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall Causing a giant wall of dirt to erect in front of him, the Inuzuka and his ninken didn't stop their attack until they broke through the earth wall spinning faster while hitting everything in their path when they finally stopped they saw Naruto was nowhere in sight.
"Tch looks like i accidentally killed him" Fire Release: Stream the inuzuka heard looking up, he saw a steady stream of fire heading towards him immediately he tackled his dog out the way. Before getting back up hoping to end this fast the Inuzuka made the snake hand seal and, pointing his mouth towards Naruto who was still falling from the sky he yelled Lightning Release: Lighting Spear his mouth starting to emit lightning in the shape of a spear heading straight for Naruto who had no way of dodging.
Naruto twisted his body so that his left arm was the only thing the lightning could hit and, coated his arm in a thick layer of chakra. When the lightning hit Naruto screamed not expecting this kind of pain before he hit the ground hard enough to cause his body to convulse he puke up blood.
The Inuzuka walked up to Naruto breathing hard with his flak jacket charred in some places, his dog behind him the jutsu took a lot out of him even though he was out of breath the inuzuka still smiled "told ya" he took a deep breath "you only made it this far because you're the son of the hokage" Naruto was slipping in and out of consciousness until he heard that. Still having a pretty decent amount of chakra left blood was dripping down his chin and his arm that was struck by the lightning was limp and charred but not destroyed.
Hearing the Inuzuka's words, his eyes burned crimson with three black tomoes. Naruto was officially mad he had gotten his position because he had trained and put himself through hell and back just to get half the things he had now and for someone to undermine all his hard work and effort really pissed him off.
Naruto started pushing a steady amount of chakra through his whole body managing to get his body working again he knew that as soon as his chakra went he might as well be dead but before that happened he was gonna kill this mutt. Naruto got back up slowly causing the Inuzuka's eyes to widen, before they went back to normal and he wore his ignorant smirk again after seeing Naruto's arm and mouth that still had fresh blood coming out of it in a steady stream. He stopped smiling when he saw Naruto's eyes "W-what a-a-are yo-u-u doing? what genjutsu is this" screamed the Inuzuka refusing to believe that Naruto actually had the sharingan.
Naruto ignoring his aching muscles punched him in the face with a chakra coated right fist which had a little more chakra than the rest of his body causing the Inuzuka to fly back crashing into his dog with a busted nose and a black eye, blood dripped from his nose and split lip.
Naruto was happy he proved the Inuzuka wrong, he had completely forgotten about the other chunin waiting for his turn until he just narrowly dodged an incoming kunai. Naruto turned around and looked at his last opponent eyes still glowing red. Seeing Naruto's eyes caused the remaining chunin some fear before he steeled his nerves and got into a sloppy taijutsu stance causing Naruto to follow his lead getting into an offensive stance.
Naruto struck before the chunin could punching the guy in the stomach which sent ripples of pain through his own body because this chunin was sturdy,tall, and well built. The chunin made sure he didn't fall or show signs of pain before he sent a kick to Naruto's side. Naruto seeing what he was gonna do before he even did it by the slight muscle movement in his legs jumped over the kick sending a roundhouse kick of his own directed at his temple causing the chunin to stumble back a bit.
Before he sent a punch of his own to Naruto's stomach which was hard enough to disrupt the chakra flow that was keeping Naruto up causing Naruto to double over in pure agony, he barfed up blood.
The last remaining chunin had on a cold smile "Daddy can't save you now can he?" the Goliath of a man asked in a mocking a couple of his teeth loose and, a mark the size of Naruto's foot on his temple "Time to make you squeal" he continued before taking out a kunai and stabbing into Naruto's back carving dad. That's the farthest he got before Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique was heard and a volley of small fireballs assaulted him killing within minutes.
Itachi came running over to Naruto finding curled up in the fetal position with the word dad carved deeply into his back. Seeing his sworn brother like this caused Itachi's blood to boil, seeing his best friend in this state all weakness and so close to death caused Itachi's own eyes to change from three tomoe into a black shuriken. Itachi listening to the voice in his head turned to the downed form of the Inuzuka and his dog while muttering Amaterasu turning the two mutts into nothing.
Itachi feel to his knees from a combination of the strain the jutsu put on his body and the injures he had sustained from the Hyuga. looking up he saw Naruto looking at him with three spinning tomoes the two best friends simply looked into each others eyes instantly knowing what had occurred tonight and both accepting it. Both eyes meeting and going back to normal before the two slipped into blissful unconsciousness.
Hours later they were found and taken to the hospital nobody but Naruto and Itachi knew what happened that night because nobody else other than them was found. After they regained conciseness they were interrogated on how they got those scars and why there was so much blood around the area they were found. Naruto and Itachi both said the same thing every time they were asked "we don't remember" after that night Naruto and Itachi's friendship was unbreakable. Because after that night Itachi took Naruto to the Naka Shrine and showed Naruto everything that had to do with his clan's sacred eyes including the tablet.
When Naruto activated his sharingan he could decipher some of the stone tablet but not all of it he asked Itachi for help deciphering it, because he was very interested in the secrets the Mangekyō Sharingan had to offer and he wanted instructions on how to get it but he was more interested in The story of the Ōtsutsuki and the Shinju. Itachi told him that you had to have some rare doujutsu to read the rest that got Naruto's hope down. But then he remembered that Itachi had the Mangekyō Sharingan and asked him how he got it Itachi didn't remember causing Naruto to sigh. That night Naruto told himself that he was going to start taking his training more seriously that way he never feels as helpless as he did that night and with that resolution Naruto and Itachi set out trying to create their own jutsu's and learning new ones with renewed vigor.
~Present day~
Itachi and Naruto have been in the village for four days now after coming back from their first A-rank mission. The two young chunins are on their way to the triplets birthday this year it is being held in the Namikaze compound. Itachi and Naruto arrived at 7:39 pm both with two separate presents each for Asura, since both of them knew that the sisters would probably get most of the presents they both decided it wouldn't hurt anyone if they just didn't bother getting them anything. Naruto opened the door for Itachi letting him walk in first with Naruto following close behind. The party was held in the very spacious living room of the compound their were fluorescent lights,balloons,streamers and kids everywhere the adults were all in the kitchen talking about who knows what. Naruto looked around until he saw two tables one filled with refreshments of all kinds from a chocolate fountain to a fondue maker and another filled with presents which is where Naruto and Itachi dropped their presents off at.
Itachi immediately went for the food table while Naruto looked around for Asura he saw his two bratty sisters bragging about something to a group of children. Naruto was about to give up on looking until he felt something latch onto his hind legs when Naruto looked behind him he saw a 4 foot child with dark red hair that somehow always looked untamed followed by soft oceanic blue eyes he was wearing a blood red vest with dark formal pants he smiled up at Naruto with stunningly bright teeth.
"BIG BROTHER!" he yelled before he jumped onto Naruto's back "Asura" Naruto laughed out. "YOU MADE IT YOU MADE IT!" yelled Asura causing the adults in the kitchen to come out and investigate what all the yelling was about. Kushina was the first one out the kitchen seeing Naruto she smiled and went in for a hug which he just ducked under and went to talk to Mikoto Uchiha with Asura still attached to his shoulders. Kushina and Minato frowned at how well their son got along with the Uchihas and not his own flesh and blood he even went as far as hugging Fugaku.
"Welcome back Naruto how was your first A-rank mission?" asked Kushina curiously Naruto not even sparing her a glance replied in a cold voice "It was four days ago" after saying that Naruto and Itachi grabbed their respective brother's heading for Naruto's room not even getting 4 feet before "Big brother we wanna come too" screamed Naruto's sisters running to latch onto his legs. Naruto moved out the way and let them run into the wall causing gasps from those who were watching "NARUTO!" yelled an enraged Minato who quickly helped his daughters up "I don't know what has gotten into you first not accepting a hug from your own mother and now hurting your sisters". Naruto gave him a blank look "They ran into the wall on their own free will maybe... if you raised your those two right they wouldn't be so stupid" the blonde replied in an uncaring tone.
Everyone at the party gaped at that Mito and Natsuki were red faced at being called stupid in front of their friend's, the only family who weren't surprised were the Uchihas who were silently mocking the Namikaze family and congratulating Naruto for his insult. Having already accepted him as their own due to all the time spent around their compound when he was younger and even till this day. Naruto, Asura, Sasuke, and Itachi were all in Naruto's room catching up until they heard Mikoto call them down for cake.
When all four of them got downstairs they noticed that Natsuki and Mito were already opening their presents Naruto sighed. Looks like his parents forgot about Asura... again but the little guy didn't really seem to care. Asura and Sasuke affter finishing their cake went to the significantly smaller table full of Asura's presents. Asura started opening his batch of presents that were nowhere near as much as his sisters but Asura being the angel he is opened them with a lot of enthusiasm getting to his last present Asura noticed that his sisters had already opened all of their presents and were complaining about not getting everything they wanted. Noticing their youngest brother surrounded by a group uchihas and Naruto. They went over and saw that he was looking at a present that said from:Naruto, the two sisters fumed they didn't get anything from their big brother why did their loser younger brother get one and not them?
Noticing the two sisters watching everyone else also started paying attention to Asura admiring his last gift, he was just staring at the paper though not attempting to open it "Open it already" shouted Natsuki pushing people out of the way trying to get to the gift that was on the floor just being stared at she tried to take it but before she could touch it Naruto had grabbed her hands "It's not your present" his voice was calm but his eyes showed disgust Natsuki looked scared for awhile "W-why didn't y-you get us any p-p-presents" Natsuki asked in a small voice "NARUTO why didn't you get your sisters a present" the banshee that was his mother demanded, Naruto just ignoring her egged his brother on "go ahead Asura open it" Asura started unwrapping the present slowly, the audience watching with baited breath.
Everyone gasped when they saw what Naruto had gotten Asura. Asura was officially the proud owner of the second hokage's weapon the Sword of the Thunder God Minato came up quickly taking it examining it very carefully he knew it wasn't a knock off this was actually The Sword of the Thunder God Minato turned to Naruto shocked "Where did you find this" snatching the sword out of Minato's greedy hands Naruto said "I killed an Amegakure nin for this and now it's Asura's"
Danzo stepping out of the crowd yelled "This sword belongs to Konoha." In a monotone voice.
That comment pissed Naruto off more than most the thing's said tonight. Naruto protectively stepped in front of Asura "No Konoha lost this sword now its property of Asura Uzumaki Namikaze."
Danzo frowned at being talked to like that by a child "Listen boy! th-" Danzo was cut off by Minato "my son is right Konoha did lose the sword now it belongs to Asura" that got all the council members that were attending the party mad, but they stayed silent so as to not incur the wrath of their leader while silently planning a way to steal the sword from the cheeky brat that now held it.
Asura turned to Naruto after everyone had calmed down flashing him with a thousand watt smile "THANK YOU BIG BROTHER" Naruto hugged him "when you're older Ill teach you kenjutsu" Asura nodded happily Kushina overhearing this turned to the two brothers "you know Naruto I could teach Asura and you some Kenjutsu" Naruto just gave her a look "I wont except help from you" he said "you" with a little more venom than he intended but it got the reaction he wanted, she was shocked Naruto picked up Asura and walked over to where Itachi and Sasuke were "Cool sword Asura but ill get a better one" Sasuke said with a smirk causing Asura to smirk as well "you wish loser" the two went back and forth.
Naruto felt a tap on his shoulder looking back he saw his father and the two sages "Naruto we need to talk, Itachi you come too" Minato, Naruto, Itachi, Jiraiya and Tsunade walked to Minato's office when they got in Jiraiya closed the door behind them while he placed some silent seals.
"Naruto Itachi we need to talk about the upcoming jounin exams and your parts in this mission" Minato said all friendliness gone he was now in complete kage mode.
Both Naruto and Itachi smiled at this finally a chance to move up in the ranks
After his small pause Minato continued "I am sorry to say that you will not be advancing this year we will need you, Itachi, and Shisui focused whole halfheartedly on the task I am about to assign." getting it all out Minato paused again to gauge the two young men's reactions.
Naruto was noticeably glaring at his father cheeks red from biting back all the comments he wanted to yell.
Itachi had gone stoic but his eye's were furious one could almost see the outline of his sharingan in his eye's that have noticeably darkened.
Slightly put off by the two boy's now glaring at him Minato continued "the Jounin exam this year will be held in Mizu No Kuni more specifically in Kiri-"
"And why can't you let the sage's, Anbu, or even a jounin squad Handel this" Naruto bit out roughly
"Because no one outside of Chunin and their jounin instructors are going to be in the test area and the jounin will be watched like hawks so the only way to do this is with a Chunin squad" Minato continued evenly.
"But why us?" Itachi asked
"Because your track record is spotless their is no room for mistakes" Jiriya responded
"Now then your mission this time will be of S-rank it's simple really I just need you, Itachi, and Shisui to try and get as many Konoha shinobi to pass this years test." Minato said wistfully.
"But but that's that's why would we help other squads but can't pass ourselves." Naruto was tripping over his words trying to get this out he didn't get it.
"Because their have been threats of villages banding together to try and destroy the leaf, if we can produce the greatest amount of Jounin this exam it might just put them off for a bit longer" Tsunade answered this one.
"Where are you getting your information" Itachi asked always to the point
"My spy network" Jiriya answered proudly
"So we're just going to rely on a pervert's network of spy's huh" Naruto snorted out
"Another reason is because you're my son and I wouldn't trust anyone other than you with this you're strong and brave I need you on this" Minato spoke sincerely.
"Fine then but this is the only time me, Itachi, and Shisui will be promoted in the next exams" Naruto said in a way that left no room for discussion.
The hokage and two sage's smiled while handing the two boy's three files each file had a different name on it
"These files are notable Chunin's you need to watch out for and if you can take out of the exam's" Minato handed each boy his respective file while handing the third one which belonged to Shisui.
These files were thick very thick, Itachi noticing how Shisui's file was the thickest raised an eyebrow
"Shisui's style or should I say style's of fighting are so unique that it allows him to Handel more of the errr interesting enemies" tsunade responded
"now we have picked some of the applicants that we feel are the strongest and starred them it is ultimately up to you boys to decide who get's to fight who" the only female in the room continued.
"Okay now can we leave" Naruto asked now very anxious to see exactly who these strong opponents were
"you're dismissed" after the two boys left the room the kage's adopted worried expressions
"Do you think they can handle this?" Tsunade asked
Minato wore and uneasy smile "They'll have to if they want to become jounin everyone will be watching this year those boy's will make the leaf proud I just know it."
Minato sighed he hated lying to his son but this year's exam required him to for this year only seven of the best Chunin squad's from each village would be attending, and this exam would be pitting all of them against each other it was a race for points each person in their file is worth two points if they take out someone who is starred it is worth five this year's jounin exam would be brutal especially with the amount of monster like participants.
None of the chunin entering this exam could know what was really going on a rule that all the kage's made specifically for this year.
They would all enter under the false pretense that they are on S-class mission's for their countries sake when in actuality they are just competing against each other.
sighing again Minato laid his head down on his table it was borderline sadistic, to pit these children against each other like this getting up to rejoin the party with one thought in mind.
As long as Naruto doesn't get hurt I guess it's alright...
Mostly just going back and re-working on old stuff I will be posting new chapters and revising some old work thank you and please leave a comment.
