Song fic I wrote... I was bored the other night. Forgive me if it sucks. I took all of 20 minutes to write it :P Please review.
--------------------

You don't remember me, but I remember you. I lie awake and try so hard, not to think of you.

Sara Sidle stared up at her ceiling, unable to sleep. The reason; Gil Grissom. Her Boss. And the one thing she wanted more than anything else in the world. There wasn't a moment she didn't think about him. And worse, he knew, damn him.

But who can decide what they dream? And dream I do...

Her dreams were no better. Grissom, Grissom, Grissom. She couldn't escape him, no matter what. She got out of bed, long before she should have. She was fed up with herself. In an extremely bad mood, she brewed a pot of coffee. It was going to be a long day at work, and she was going to need all the coffee she could get.

I believe in you. I'll give up everything just to find you. I have to be with you, to live, to breathe. You're taking over me.

At first, Sara's feelings for Grissom might have been dismissed as a crush. And that was what Sara had tried to do. But as time went by, she realized that she not only loved Grissom, she needed him. Needed and craved his presence. And no matter how many times she got hurt, she held out hope that one day, he'd wise up.

Have you forgotten all I know, and all we had?

Sara sat at the break room table, and remembered the two weeks she'd spent with Grissom when he'd come to a seminar in San Francisco, where she'd been a student at the time. She'd been smitten the moment his eyes met hers. That was where her feelings for him had started, and, she knew, his for her.

You saw me mourning my love for you, and touched my hand...

"Sara?" said a voice from the door, " Sara I need to talk to you."

Grissom came in, and sat next to her. Sara had been unaware of the tears that had started to flow down her cheeks, until now. She quickly tried to wipe them away, even though she knew it was too late to stop him from seeing them. She looked up at him, and saw an unspoked question in his beautiful blue eyes. He wanted to know what was bothering her.

"I'm sorry, Grissom, I am. But I can't help it," she blurted without thinking, "I know you don't feel the same, but I'll never get over you..."

"Sara, look at me," said Grissom, reaching out, and taking her hand. When she didn't look up right away, he gave her fingers a gentle squeeze. Reluctantly, Sara met his eyes again. She saw something there that she thought she'd never see...

I knew you loved me then.

I believe in you. I'll give up everything just to find you. I have to be with you, to live, to breathe. You're taking over me.

Seeing that one thing opened a floodgate, and Sara poured out all her feelings. She told him that she not only loved him, but needed him...

I look in the mirror and see your face, if I look deep enough. So many things inside that are just like you are taking over.

Grissom, in turn, admitted that he loved her too, and needed her just as much. That night, Sara made the terribly wonderful mistake of accepting his invitation to dinner at his home.

I believe in you. I'll give up everything just to find you...

"I have to be with you" Sara whispered in between kisses, "To live," She and Grissom almost had all of eachothers clothes of now, "To breathe..." They fell onto the bed, locked in a passionate kiss that held all the pent up feelings from more than six years. Tonight, at least, they could show all that they felt. Tomorrow was another day, and they'd worry about it when it came,

You're taking over me.
