She always had all these feelings when exploring the halls of the Sunnydale hospital. Never could she just walk in, because it was never that easy. She pulled up her hood, took a deep breath and entered her room.
"Hey, I'm sorry I couldn't come earlier. It's been hectic. I never stopped thinking about you though." She kneeled beside her. "Hey pretty girl. I've missed you, so much. I'm sorry for what I did. I'm so sorry. Things have been… Different, since, well you know? But I promise you that, when you wake up, things will be wonderful, things will be so great. They will be different, but in a good way, I'll make sure of it. We will put all of this behind us." She let a tear roll down her cheek. "Please, just, you have to forgive me. You just have to. I never meant for anything like this to happen. And if you could look deep within your heart and search for the courage to forgive me, I would be forever grateful."
More salty tears were making their way down her face. "I wish I knew what you're thinking. I don't even know if you can hear me. But if you do, I want you to know that, I miss you." Her green eyes sparkled. "Wow, full moon. It really lights up the sky, it makes you feel safe. All other feelings suddenly don't matter as much." She went to stand by the window. "I need you." She whispered to herself, in hope that she had been heard.
"Crap, it's almost midnight, mom is going to freak.
I have to go, but I'll come back tomorrow and the day after that
and the day after that. I'll try to stay longer next time, but it's
kind of hard getting them all off my back. I'll be seeing you,
okay?" She kissed her on the forehead, pulled a strain of hair out
of her face and placed it behind her ear.
Buffy then zipped up her
hoodie as she walked out of the room.
"Please, wake up Faith."
