Mark was excited. It was his first day as an intern. He also just found out that Jennifer was expecting their first child.
"How do I look," he asked Jennifer.
"You look great honey," Jennifer said, "I'll stop by the hospital and see you tonight. I packed you a healthy lunch."
Mark smiled. He probably would just eat in the cafe but he loved that Jennifer took the time to take care of him. Still the cafe would provided him with social interaction and after a 48 hour he would need it.
...
"GREENE," his superviser said, "Room 103."
Mark hurried into the room and was filled in on the case. A Mrs. Latcherie was brought in unconsious. She was a diabetic with a two year old son. She had undergone a transplant a year ago. Mark happened to have been in the front when the others were in the back. Orders were being shouted when suddenly Mark saw potrooding out of the young woman's labia a baby's head.
"SHE'S CROWNING," he shouted.
The other doctors ran over to see what Mark was talking about. They saw the baby's head too.
"PAGE OBSTETRICS STAT," another doctor ordered.
Within minutes doctors helped the young woman deliver a healthy baby girl.
"Doctor Greene would you like to asess the baby," his supervisser offered.
Baby Latcherie scored a perfect 10 on her APGUARDS.

Jackson and M'lynn were pacing the floor. Drum was trying to stay calm and not suceeding. Every regret he ever had was playing in his mind. He was terrfied. Jackson was feeling guilty wondering if something he did caused this.
"Hi my name is Doctor Greene," Mark said coming out with a smile on his face.
"SHELBY," Jackson exclaimed, "How's Shelby?"
"Shelby is doing just fine," the doctor said, "and so is the baby."
"I'm sorry. Did you just say the baby," M'lynn asked
"What baby," Jackson asked.
"Shelby was unbeknowst to her pregnant. Some moments ago we delivered a healthy baby girl. Shelby came to several minutes later."
"You're telling me my wife was pregnant and didn't know it? Is the baby-"
"She is perfect. Scored a perfect 10 on her APGUARDS."
