"Sammy watch out!" Dean screamed out to his little brother as one of the vampires they were currently fighting off snuck up behind him.

Sam swiftly moved to push the vampire on his arse, slaying the monster as Dean did the same, one after the other. Wiping the sweat from his brow with his arm sleeve, Dean looks at Sam, giving a nod before the both of them walked out to their 67 Chevy impala.

"I think we deserve a few beers." Dean says as they drive off toward the main roads of the small town they are in.

"Dean, I'm beat, you go have a few beers though, I'm just gonna sleep." Dean just shrugged, it wasn't uncommon for Sam to decline coming to the pub after a case. Dean dropped Sam off at the rustic hotel/motel they are staying at before driving back out to the local tavern.

Dean sat down at the stool, thinking about how he hadn't seen Castiel for a few weeks now, how he missed that dorky trench coat wearing like that, as if Case was listening in on Dean's thoughts, Case appeared next to him on the stool. Dean jumped the slightest and sighed in irritation, as much as he moved having Cas around, Case did have a tendency to sneak up on Dean which would forever annoy him.

"Hi Dean." Castile's deep throaty voice greeted.

"Hey Cas, what're you do in here?" Dean asks.

"I was watching you, you seemed... lonely. Is everything okay?"Cas asked worriedly.

"Yeah everything's fine Cas, just need to get myself laid." Dean joked in an attempt to lighten the mood. Cas gives Dean one of his quizzical looks, not understanding Deans joke.

"Laid?" Cas repeats as if to ask what it means. Dean rolls his eyes.

"Right, I forgot who I was talking to" Dean says under his breath.

"Cas, getting laid means sex." Cas nods his head and goes quiet.

"What if no girl wants to get laid with you." Dean rolls his eyes at Castiel's attempt at using the phrase laid.

"Then I'll go back to the hotel and get some sleep." Dean says shrugging and downing another shot of whiskey.

"What about me?" Cas asks.

"Yeah you can come too if you want, but you don't even sleep." Dean says shrugging.

"No Dean, what about sex... for me." Dean nearly choked on his whiskey.

"Look Cas, we can try to get you laid but remember the last time we tried getting you laid, you basically made the chick have a mental breakdown." Dean says with a soft chuckle.

"I wont go prying into their past like I did with her." Dean snorts, not believing Cas, but agreed anyway since he had nothing better to do.

Just as Dean predicted, one lady after who flirted with Cas or offered to take him home, ended with either a slap or drink thrown across Castiel's face. Even if this meant Dean didn't get to go home with the beautiful women at this bar, it was still entertaining and exactly what Dean needed. Castiel walked over to Dean, slightly flustered after the last ordeal.

"Don't worry about it Cas, it happens." Cas nods his head as he sits next to Dean.

"Sorry you didn't get a girl to lay." Dean chuckles.

"Thanks man." Dean says.

For the next hour or two, Dean kept throwing back glass after glass of Whiskey, while talking with Castiel who just sat next to him, no drink in hand.

"Alright, time to get you home." Cas says, with his hand on Dean's shoulder, they were standing in Dean and Sam's Hotel room. Sam was in his bed completely asleep. Dean turns to Castiel, who is standing closer than he realised.

"Well, I hope you get some sleep." Cas says in his deep husky voice.

Deans heart beat increased slightly as Cas came in closer to hug Dean, though it happened in a matter of milliseconds, everything felt in slow motion for Dean, the feel of Castiel's arms wrap around Dean. He couldn't help but, for those short few seconds, let his guard down. When they finally pulled away, Cas gave a smile before vanishing.

With a sigh, Dean collapses onto his bed, head muffled in his pillow as he thinks about his night out with Cas, smiling at the run he had, the most fun he's had in a while.
