Tris pov
My alarm goes off it is 5:30 in the morning. My brother Calab is knocking on my down yelling at me to get up. I yell back "I'm up." Today is my first day of my new high school divergent high. I had just moved from Florida. I get up from my bed and jump in the shower. I loved how the hot water felt on my skin it soothed my pain from the slaps of the belt I got on my back for being late home from exploring the new city I was in California. When I was done I looked at the time and it was 7:00 I have school at 8:00 so Ii had an hour to get ready for school. I did my makeup and then I put my black crop top and my black shorts with my red converses that I love dearly. I go downstairs and see my mom standing there getting breakfast ready we were having pancakes. So I took two then jumped into my black mustang with the red fire on the sides. Oh did I mention my family was dirty rich my dad is a government agent and my mom is a lawyer. So yep we are rich. When I get to school I go to the office and ask for my schedule and locker number. On my way to my locker I bump into a girl with brown skin and long brown hair. I say sorry and pick up my books. She asks me what my name is and I say Be- Tris. I like that name it suits me. She says her name is Christina. She asks to see my schedule and says we have all of the same classes and our lockers are going to be right next to each other. We are going to be best friends. It was only 7:50 so we had a few minutes to get to our lockers and go to our class before school begins. We go to our locker and get our books and we make it to our class just on time. Our first class is math. Ugh math. Then I look around the room to see who my classmates are. Then my eyes land on a beautiful blue eyed guy I think I was staring to long then he looked up and saw me then I turned around and blushed.
