Bright is the sun
Shining above the rest
Even when the moon and stars try
And Show their very best
Hot is the sun
Burning with anticipation
To claw and crawl to the very top
And reach its aspiration
Foolish is the sun
Who thinks that with its power
It can share all heat and light
And not forget one prowler
Reckless is the sun
Enough to seek the evil
Trying to break them with its light
And goodness their own equal
Warm is the sun
To all the souls it touches those who remain
Even one it cannot see
And its efforts do not stand in vain
Golden is the sun
To me because I see the truth
Though he may not ever open up
I'll still be waiting when the sun goes down and with it takes our youth
