(A/N came up with this and I thought all of you would like it! It's a little bit short but cute! Pepperony! I do not own IMAA)
Virgil Potts kissed his daughters head before going out the door with a few suitcases. "Behave when I'm gone Pepper. I'll see you in a few days." He said and left Pepper alone in apartment. Pepper sighed and went to watch TV out of boredom. Hours past and Pepper decided to go to bed.
Sound asleep in her bed Pepper didn't expect to be woken up by a thunderous boom. It shook the house. Lightning flashed and another boom of thunder sounded. Pepper started to shake. "Come on Potts, it's only a storm…" she said to herself trying not to cry. Pepper was absolutely terrified of storms like this one. Pepper jumped out of bed at the sound of another boom.
Pepper didn't know how she ended up where she was. She ended up there during a storm. The hall closet. Pepper's knee's were up to her chest and pulled out her phone. Just need to talk to someone….she thought as she shakily went through her contacts. Tony's name came into her view. Pepper bit her lip trying to decide whether or not he was awake. She finally clicked dial and waited. "Hello?" asked Tony's voice. Pepper sighed in relief "H-hey T-tony…." She said stuttering. "Hey Pep…are you ok?" Tony asked sounding a little concerned. "Ummm….I…Don't know…" Pepper said and cringed at the sound of thunder. "What's wrong?" Tony asked fully concerned now. "I-I'm afraid…of the storm….my dad went on a mission…and I'm alone…" Pepper said blushing at her fear. Silence for a moment and then Tony spoke "I'm on my way over." Pepper started to speak but a very loud boom of thunder made give out a small scream and drop the phone. Her phone back popped off and she lost the battery in the dark crap she thought and curled into a small ball.
It felt like hours before Pepper heard her name being called. "Pepper?" Tony called walking through her home. "Tony?" Pepper called back. She heard his footsteps walking down the hall and stop in front of her hiding spot. The door opened and Tony stood there with concern on his face. He knelt down to her level. "Come on Pep…" he said moving into the closet. He picked her up and brought her back to her room. Thunder boomed but Pepper felt better now that Tony was there with her. Tony placed Pepper back on her bed and gently tucked her in. Thunder boomed again making Pepper flinch. Tony sat on the side of her bed and held her hand in comfort. "Please don't leave…" Pepper said a few tears sliding down her cheeks.
Tony smiled "I wasn't going to." He said. Pepper gave him a small smile. "Thank you." she said scooting over so Tony could be comfortable. Tony moved so he was lying next to Pepper. He felt Pepper cringe at thunder. He wrapped his arms around her in protection. "Anytime Pep." He said as he rested his cheek against her red hair. "Why did you come straight here? Most People would have just talked on the phone for a few minutes and hang up." Pepper asked quietly against Tony's shoulder. Tony gently kissed Pepper's head. "Because I care about you. And I love you." he murmured. Pepper shifted and looked at Tony. "Really?" she asked whispering. Tony smiled and nodded. Pepper smiled and kissed Tony's cheek. "I love you too." She said. This statement made Tony kissed Pepper full on the lips until they ran out of air.
Pepper laid down again her head on his chest and her arms wrapped around him. Tony laid back his own arms were wrapped around Pepper. The storm was forgotten. They slept peacefully in each other's arms.
