Vera Pilars was a simple girl, she didn't ask for a lot. Just a day that people didn't question her love for Randy Orton.

Why would you love a guy like him? He's known for his anger issues. He can't love you, because he doesn't know what it is. Why him?

It was always the same for the blonde haired, green eyed, four foot nine, high flyer. She loved him because she understood him.

She was a simple girl, from Griffen, Georgia. Vera, she didn't want a wedding where thousands of people came. No, she wanted something small. Only her family, certain friends, like Layla El, Nick Nemeth, John Cena, and Adam Copeland, and her husband's family. And that's what she got.

Randy, despite what everyone thought, was a simple man, from St. Louis, Missouri. Nothing was a big deal, besides his wife's happiness. When she told him she wanted a small wedding, that's what she got.

Vera was sitting backstage, waiting for her husband to get finished changing out of his ring gear, when Michelle McCool came up to her.

"Vera. Still with Orton?" The taller woman asked snidey.

"Yes, why wouldn't I still be with my husband?" Vera asked back, a grim smile on her pretty face.

Michelle didn't get the chance to say anything more, because Randy had came out of the showers and was looking between the two women, a look of discomfort on his scruffy face.

"Leave Michelle." Vera told the woman calmly, not wanting her to say something to make Randy question her love for him.

Michelle did as she was told, and fled the scene rather quickly.

"Why did you marry me?" Randy asked once they had gotten his things together and went out to the rented navy blue Ford F-150.

"You were the only man that never went out of his way to make me love him. You made me love you, by just being yourself. No matter what, you told me what you thought of certain situations, and you faught with me on stupid topics. I married you, because you didn't hide your problems, like your anger management issues. You were real." She answered truthfully. Wanting him to know that she loved him for him, not his money, or anything else people thought.

They were and unlikely couple, that was for sure. He towered over her 4'9" frame, standing at 6'3". He had hardened facial features, while she had soft angelic features. He's whole demeanor screamed fuck off, while she was a "go with the flow" kinda girl. Opposites attract, that's what they said.

No matter what people thought, they were alike in one sense. They were simple people.

"Simple. That's what you are. That's why I love you, Randy. No force can change that." Vera said as an after thought.

He looked at her, a smile adorning his face, and grabbed her hand.

"Simple. It's what got us here in the first place." He laughed out, and pointed to the back seat that held their 2 year old baby girl, Victoria Lane Orton, sleeping soundly in her car seat.

"You're a simple man, Randy. And I'm a simple woman." She smiled at her husband.

"And that's why I love you." He concluded and leaned over the console to give her a kiss.

"You better." She finished.

Now, it's Randy's turn:D Everyone loves the Viper! I know I do:)
