Pan's little 'Wendy' let out a shrill scream as I drove the silver tip of my hook into Pan's chest, dug, and dragged. A cruel laugh made its way through my lips as blood gushed from his chest. The boy is dead! HAHAHAH! Finally, I'm FREEEEEEEEE!!!! I stood and threw my hat into the air, laughing as I did.

"THE BOY IS DEAAAAD!!" I shouted. My crew began screaming and cheering.

"NOOOOO!!" came the sob of the Wendy. Smee and I gave her disdainful looks. She needs to accept the truth. I looked down at Pan's body; his eye lids were half-closed and I realized what I'd just done… Oh my god. Blood trickled out of his mouth as he gagged. He wasn't dead yet. Wendy tried to get away from the pirate –I've forgotten his name- but he skillfully knocked one of her pressure points. Pan was trying to say something.

"Ho…ok…" he choked out. I got down on one knee to listen to my enemy's last words. He coughed and gurgled, getting blood on my face. I would wash that off later.

"Pan," I snarled.

He tried to move his hand but failed. I picked it up and watched as his half-lidded eyes darted to my cheek. I hesitantly pressed his hand to my cheek; they moulded perfectly together. I cringed in my mind. "I…" he gurgled again. "Love you…" he choked out. I paled and dropped his hand immediately. Damn you, Pan! I am no pedophile! What the hell are you thinking?! PAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!

The ship silenced. Had I screamed that out loud? I looked around. Judging by the faces of my crew and Smee, yes, I most definitely had just screamed Peter-bloody-Pan's name. I looked down at the boy who, though he was dying, was staring at me hopefully through nearly-lidded eyes. I felt my heart burst. Blasted boy… Blasted boy! I pressed my hand to one of his cheeks and my hook to his other. "And I you, Peter-Bloody-Pan."

A smile befell his face and his eyes closed fully. He let out one last gurgling breath and ceased living all together. I stood and glowered at my crew.

"Cap'n?" Smee asked. I glared at him. "What should we do with the children?"

I threw my hand in the general direction of the plank and waved impatiently. "Have them walk the plank!" I snarled. I scooped Pan's body up into my arms, grabbed Smee's arm, snatched the damn fairy from the starboard side, and well all thudded into one of the life boats. I cut the ropes and ordered Smee to row. The fairy sat upon my shoulder. She tittered.

"He loved you, didn't he?" was what the fairy sounded like she said. Smee glanced over just as I nodded. "And you him, no?" I nodded once again.

Dammit, Pan. I hate you.

"Peter Pan," I snarled.
