A/N: Hey guys! This is a one shot ish. It will eventually get to Sam Puckett. Not yet though. Sorry if Beck seems weird, I'm trying to work with what Dan gives us. My nickname for Beck is BeckBot. He's like a robot. But his name is Beck.

It was a foggy Wednesday when they met. It was on the first day of kindergarten. Like kindergarteners, they suddenly realized that there was more to life than parents.

But Cat knew more than that. She was neglected by her parents since her birth. She tried to stay optimistic about it, to let her supposed friends know she was okay. But she had no friends. Not until she met Beck Oliver and Jade West.

She was making a toy castle when Beck appeared.

"Hi. I'm Beck Oliver. What's your name?"

"Cat Valentine! I like your name." Cat replied. With just that, they became instant friends.
