Disclaimer: I only own the four disks that hold the game! I didn't create it. v.v I'm not rich off teh monnies.

Dn'LAngel: Look! A drabble! Yeah. I've been re-playing LoD this weekend. Obsessively. And when I first used Star Children (its been so long I hardly remember anything) I reacted about the same as the guys do in this little piece. It's probably not the best, as it was written on inspiration received a day earlier and in a short amount of time. But hey, consider it me testing the waters of the LoD fandom. Yes, there may be some OOCness.

Side note: Don't forget to review and gimme your thoughts!

They hadn't expected much change in Shana's fighting abilities simply from becoming a Dragoon. Yes, being able to completely heal one of their party was useful but, Rose's Astral Drain was that much more useful. So Shana normally took the back seat during battles, as safe as one could be under the circumstances.

It wasn't until she learned a new, offensive spell that this changed. Shana insisted on trying it in battle and, being the curious little group that they were, the others let her advance to the head of the group to do so.

"Star Children!" Dart crossed his arms, shaking his head at the name of the attack. It sounded like it would be followed by a pretty little light show---Oh, look. A pretty light show.

And then their enemies were suddenly bombarded by a hellish meteor shower. Dart felt his jaw drop open along with the the other two males in the group. Rose just shook her head at them and muttered something about men and underestimating women.

"How was that?" The sweet brunette asked Dart once she was returned to human form, smiling brightly. "It was good, right?" All he could do was nod dumbly, watching as Rose took hold of Shana's arm and the two started to lead the way to their destination.

"Why is it that men are always surprised when a woman proves to be just as suited as they are for battle?" The dark haired lady asked, rolling her eyes.

Shana giggled, shrugging helplessly as she was pulled along, "I guess I'll just have to keep surprising them, huh?"

Nodding, Rose turned back to call at the others, "Are you three coming or not? We don't have all day."

Immediately, the three jumped to attention and raced after them. Each one of them reminding themselves to never—Ever get on Shana's bad side. Especially if she was able to utilize her Dragoon Spirit.
