"And Aunt Minnie showed me the library, and I got to meet Madam Pince. She's the libaran."
"Librarian" Severus gently corrected.
"Yea, but, Daddy, can you believe she doesn't have a single princess book in the whole humongus library?!" The tiny raven made a large extravagant circle with her hands.
"Library"
"Yeah, but can you believe it?!" She exclaimed again in over exuberant disappointment.
"Really, not a single one?!" Severus feigned shock.
"NO! And there's only pictures in some of them and only like every ten bazillion pages!"
"What!? Such a disgrace!" The potions master continued to mock.
"Yeah, a huge dissapace." Severus could only smirk at his daughters child-like pronunciations.
"So what did you do while you waited for me?" He questioned as Serenity grabbed his hand to continue her 'tour' of Hogwarts, well the tiny bit she'd seen of it anyways.
"Well forchanatly Aunt Minnie knows what it's all about and she let me borry-"
"Borrow"
"Yeah, borrow some of hers! And she had some really good ones too! And, Daddy, it was so amazing. She let me hold her furry pink book about this poor little pink Pygmy Puff that was all alone, and didn't have any friends because all the other Pygmy Puffs were purple and they didn't like her because she didn't match them. Oh, Daddy, it was so sad at first, but it's okay because it had a happy ending. I was so happy she found the beauty insider of her. Can I read it to you later, Daddy?"
"Of course you can, My Hikari." Severus answered affectionately.
"My my my, I never thought I would see the day when Severus Snape would volunteer to read a furry pink book about a sad lonely Pygmy Puff. I might have to use this to my advantage in the future." Minerva joked with the potions master.
"Just like I'll have to save the stories I've heard about Serenity cuddling with 'Aunt Minnie's' tabby cat?" Severus smirked back.
"Oh, she's so sweet, Daddy. I really missed you that first night, and she slept with me cuz I was lonely."
"Serenity, remember I told you she was a secret." Minerva urged, her cheeks tinged pink in slight embarrassment. Especially after spotting the smirk on Severus's face.
"Oh, it's okay, Aunt Minnie, Daddy is the best secret keeper ever. He NEVER tells anybody my secrets. He'll keep ours. I tell him everything, right Daddy?"
A Cheshire-like smirk grew across his face as Minerva's slight pink cheeks burned bright red. "That's correct, My Hikari. And it's 'because I was lonely, not cuz" Severus slightly chided.
