Closure

.
She figured that this was the best way to get closure with her feelings; Hermione needed to face the facts. Fact one: Draco Malfoy was a notorious bad boy Slytherin who has not liked her or her friends in the slightest for the past six years. Fact two: he did not see her more than a girl with frizzy hair and a high IQ.
So, it's only right for the dear Gryffindor to face her emotions that are holding her prisoner and set them loose, metaphorically of course.
Folding a piece of parchment containing her world-numbing revelation into the shape of a sailboat, she took a deep breath and leaned over the edge of the lake. Slowly easing it into the water she blew gently to make it travel away from her.
Hermione wished the piece of paper all the luck that she could give as she watched the white of the paper fade away as it traveled farther into the unknown. This was supposed to be a moment of relief, of happiness, of joy. Instead the closure she had received crushed her soul and spirit; she realized she had just sailed her heart away.
.
I love you, Draco Malfoy.
