This probably won't be very good but I will give it a try. In this I am pretending that Kerry didn't get shot and that Gabriel died somehow. Kerry got her job back. Please review.

Kerry and Tony were walking along the corridor towards the canteen when a Smithy's head popped out of his office. "PC Young could you possibly come here and help me with something?" They had been having a relationship for a while and although lots of people had suspicions that something was going on they couldn't prove anything. "Yes Sarge on my way" Kerry smiled to herself as she walked into the office.

"What is it you want?" Kerry asked almost suggestively.

"You" Smithy replied which took Kerry by surprise. She knew what to do next; she closed the door and pulled the blinds shut. She walked towards him and he used his hand to sweep all of the papers off his desk on to the floor. Kerry laughed "You have always wanted to do that haven't you?" Smithy smiled and replied "Yeah and I have always wanted to do this" He lifted her onto the desk and then sat onto the desk chair, they were almost at the same height so Kerry put her hands around the back of his neck and kissed him gently at first and then they both parted their lips at the same time and explored each other's mouths with their tongues.

Smithy started to unbutton her shirt whilst she un tucked his shirt and slid her hands up his bare back and caressed his skin. She removed her hands only to let him remove her shirt, they resumed kissing and she slowly undid his buttons and pulled off his shirt, Smithy broke from the kiss and started to kiss her neck, a soft moan escaped from her mouth and Smithy realised how much he loved her, he stopped kissing her neck and pulled back looking at her and whilst smiling he said "I really love you" She smiled and replied "I love you too" They continued kissing and didn't realise that the door opened and someone came in and shut it again.

"PC Young I believe you have a shout, Tony is waiting by the car, get dressed and then meet him there, I would like a word when you return" Gina Gold almost shouted at her.

"Yes Ma'am" Kerry replied whilst hurrying to get ready. She then left and shut the door behind her. Meanwhile a very embarrassed Smithy was putting his shirt on.

Gina spoke first "I assumed she would be in here when I couldn't find her"

Smithy looked shocked "You mean you know about our relationship?"

Inspector Gold smiled "I had my suspicions but I wasn't sure, now I am"

"Please don't tell anyone" Smithy pleaded.

"I won't but you had better be glad that it was me that found you and not the Super that walked in on your little fling with PC Young" Gina smiled.

"It's not a fling, I really love her, and thank you Ma'am" Smithy replied.

Gina left the office and a very uncomfortable Smithy in it. He knew he was lucky she had found him, he knew she had a soft spot for him.
