This is just me trying a little something out. I might take a while to upload the stories because it is the school fanfic I will be concentrating on. I am pretending that Neil isn't married and that night she asked if he wanted to go for a drink, during an Obbo straight after he joined as DI (I'm not sure what episode) anyway I am pretending he said yes. Please review. X Btw I still love Sam/Phil.

They had just returned to the office after an Obbo, they were soaked through. Sam walked into the DI's office. "Are you still up for that drink?" She asked him.

"Yeah of course" he smiled "But I need to get changed"

She returned the smile "Could you give me a lift? Because my car isn't here, it is getting serviced"

"Yeah sure, well I will take you back to yours, I will wait while you get changed if that's Ok and then we can go to mine and I will get changed." He said whilst getting his coat together.

"That sounds like a plan" She got her things together and they left.

When they got back to her house he was happy to wait outside but she insisted "You can come in"

He accepted and it was still pouring down with rain and he got absolutely soaked running to her house. When they got inside she looked at him "You must be freezing" She walked into the bathroom and brought out a towel, she handed it to him "Use this to dry yourself off, I might have one of my brothers old shirts in my wardrobe that I sometimes wear to sleep in. She walked in the bedroom and came out with a black T-Shirt in her hand, "Here you can put this on it will keep you dry" She smiled at him "Do you want a coffee?" She walked over to the kettle and switched it on.

"Yes thanks that would be nice" He replied, she turned to look at him and realised that he was removing his shirt to change into the black top. He didn't notice she was looking and she didn't know whether to look away but she felt a strange attraction towards him, so she watched but tried not to make it too obvious. He dried his shoulders with the towel and then started to pull the T-Shirt over his head, he was really well shaped, you could see his muscles. He eventually had the top on and looked over to Sam who was still staring at him.

He was embarrassed that she had seen him get changed "Sorry, I was just so cold I thought I had better change quickly" he said apologetically.

She smiled and walked towards him "Its fine, I really don't mind. In fact I liked what I saw" She said as she was still approaching him. He was baffled, she picked up on this and continued "I have liked you for a while" She saw the look of shock on his face and thought she had got it horrible wrong, she turned to walk away when he put his hand on her arm and turned her around. "I have liked you too but I wasn't aware of your feelings" He smiled and then pulled her close and kissed her. He pulled back to make sure it was what she wanted and then he kissed her more passionately. She walked backwards towards the sofa and lay back on it bringing him back as well he was on top of her.

She smiled knowing that at last what she wanted to happen was going to.
