~*~ The Park~*~
"Have you seen Hiei anywhere?" Yusuke asked Kurama.
"No, why?" Kurama answered.
"I haven't seen him in...three weeks." Yusuke said.
"Good riddance if ya ask me!" Kuwabara said.
"Kuwabara! What an awful thing to say!" Botan said from behind them.
"Hey, Botan. Another case or what?" Yusuke asked.
"Well, sort of. First off, Hiei's in America. Second, you're going too, (Kurama, Yusuke, and Kuwabara.)" Botan said.
"What?! Why?" Kuwabara asked.
"Exchange student program. And we need you to get some...uh...special people o join forces with Koenma." Botan explained.
"What kind of 'special people'?" Yusuke asked.
"Uh...um...." Botan stuttered.
"I know who you mean Botan." Kurama said. "And I'll explain to them (Kuwabara and Yusuke) later."
"Oh, thank you!" Botan exclaimed. "Now I really must be going. Bye!" And she flew away on her oar.
~*~The Next Day at the Airport~*~
Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama had gone home that night and found their plane tickets. The plan was that they would meet up at the airport at 3:45 pm, an hour before the plane took off.
"Hey Kurama." Yusuke greeted. Kuwbara seemed half asleep still.
"Hello Yusuke." Kurama answered him.
~*~ Hours Later~*~An Airport in New York, New York~*~
As Kurama, Yusuke, and Kuwabara stepped off the plane into the busy airport, Yusuke and Kuwabara realized something.
"Wait! How do we know who we're supposed to go with?" They asked at the same time.
"I know who they are, okay? Calm down." Kurama said in his gentle voice.
"So, do you see 'em?" Yusuke asked.
"Yes." Kurama answered. He pointed out a girl with waist length light brown hair, crystal blue eyes, and the palest skin you've ever seen. She was wearing a red shirt with black pants, black and red checkered stocking- tights-things, black shoes, and checkered red and black laces. Then they saw Hiei with her in his usual black outfit. They walked over to them.
"Hello." Kurama and the girl greeted each other.
"How'd you manage to bring Hiei along with you?" Yusuke asked.
"All I had to do was bribe him." She said. Hiei wasn't there anymore.
"Where'd he go?" Kuwabara asked.
"I gave him some money and he went to buy some Skittles." She said. "By the way, what are your names? I already know Kurama, but I don't believe I've met you two." (Meaning Yusuke and Kuwabara.)
"I'm Yusuke Urameshi." Yusuke said.
"Kazuma Kuwbara." Kuwbara said.
"And you are?" Yusuke asked.
"I'm Annalee. Ann for short." She answered. "Why don't we get home? I'm sure you're tired." They nodded and left to find their bags, and Hiei.
~*~Outside of a three story mansion-type thing with a garden, swimming pool, and lots of other stuff.~*~
"Whoa, do you live here?" Yusuke asked.
"Yep. Along with Rune, Rath, Thatz, Cesia, Delte, Zoma, Tara, and Tawny." Ann said.
"Jeez, who are those people?" Kuwabara asked.
"Rune, Rath, and Thatz are Dragon Knights, Cesia and Delte are fortune tellers, Zoma is Cesia's demon friend, Tara and Tawny are Ann's sisters." Kurama said for her.
"How'd you know that?" Yusuke asked.
"I told you, I know them." Kurama said.
"Oh, right." He answered. And with that, they walked towards the mansion.
