Chapter 1: prologue
It was Friday near 5pm when it happened. I was walking home from the bus stop, humming happily as it was finally summer vacation. The sky was clear and the birds were singing. I was half way through my street, when there was a flash and everything went black.
At first I only heard voices. A woman shouting: "His heart stopped again!". Someone's heart stopped?! Did I fall asleep in a hospi... "Clear!" I heard a man shout, then a shock went through me and I blacked out.
"His heart stopped again!" "It can't go on like this forever!" The voices were different this time. I heard someone shout "clear!". I forced myself to sit up and open my eyes, I pushed my hand towards the voice shouting "stop!" A bolt of lightning shot from the palm of my hand and incinerated the man. Everyone was shocked by the event and I was the first to start panicking and my screaming was joined by that of the others in the room not long after that.
When the shock passed, I got curious. I repeated what I did before, but nothing happened. "Dammit, why doesn't it work?" I kicked the bed, which went through 5 walls and a window. Excited, I stepped through the wall into the hallway and kicked against a brick as hard as I could, it flew out of sight in a split second. I stood there for what felt like hours trying to understand what just happened.
I suddenly had super powers that was clear, but how? I wanted to know more, what gave me these powers, why me and above all what else could I do? While I was trying to understand what was going on, a weird energy ran through me. I was suddenly teleported to the edge of a ravine. I heard multiple. Crying babies and started to look around, there was a basket with three golden babies behind me. Ok, I'm either dreaming or going insane...

Okaaayy... I suck at writing that much is clear. But I do have like 50 chapters worth of story ideas. this one's short cause it's a prologue.
