Sitting on her bed, Wren's thoughts were occupied by her twin sister. Tonight had been a disaster, but as much as she wanted to place the blame on Cather, she couldn't. All Cath had done was respond to the S.O.S. call. A call that was supposed to be used only when something extreme was happening, or had happened. Obviously, Cath still cared about her. If she didn't, there was no way that she would've come to help, though no help was needed. 'No,' Wren thought. 'Cath is innocent. It was me. It was my own drunken stupidity that caused the problem.'
But as she thought about what had happened, and the events leading up to it, more of her own mistakes appeared. The first mistake that she'd made was to distance herself from Cather. Cath had always been there to stop her if she went too far, but now there was only Courtney. However, Courtney was even worse. Courtney had encouraged bad and harmful habits. Courtney was the reason that she'd sent the S.O.S. text. So the second mistake was to become Courtney's friend.
The third mistake was becoming addicted to alcoholic drinks and going to the bars. If only she'd never gotten drunk, than none of this would've happened. Plus, getting drunk didn't help at all with Jandro. He hated when Wren was drunk.
The fourth mistake...Wren's thoughts froze...was not saying sorry. Panic gripped her. 'What if Cath never forgives me? What is she never talks to me again? What if...' In a moment of panic, she grabbed her coat, throwing it over her pajamas. Wren ran out the door and out of her dorm. Why was Cath's room so far away?
In a few minutes, she had arrived at her sister's room. Uncertainty gripped her, making her hand stop only a few inches from the door. 'What if...' Then the door flew open, leaving Wren no choice. She rushed inside, straight into Cath's arms. "I'm so sorry Cath!" Stunned, all Cath could do was return the hug.
"I-It's okay, Wren." And she meant it. The two sisters were best friends once again, and this time, they would never leave each other for anything. Their love would last for eternity.
And no, they are not supposed to seem gay, I'm sorry if it came across that way.
Please review, it takes almost no time for you, but even one word will light up my day.
