He stared at the gates that stood in front of him, mocking him of his existence.
It was early morning, not one person in sight, but as he strolled through the village he dared enter, he sensed an all too familiar chakra.
"Sakura, I know you're there."
"Sasuke…?"
As his obsidian, hollow eyes scanned the area; he eyed the girl who called his name.
"Is that really you?"
"Hn,"
She snuffled a bit then walked, no, ran to him. "Sasuke, it really is you!"
"Hn," he managed as a faint smile played on his lips.
There was silence, the awkwardness of it all.
"Sakura…?"
"Yes, Sasuke-kun?"
His pale face reddened a bit. He longed for her to call him that.
"I have to give you something." He muttered as he handed a paper to her. "Do you… want me to read it?"
"Okay." She smiled.
"Here it goes…"
Sakura,
The day I met you, my life changed.
Maybe I shouldn't say this. Heck, I shouldn't be reading it to you.
Sorry, for everything.
If were meant for each other, maybe, MAYBE we can be together someday.
But before anything, I just want to say that I love you.

She gave him a light nudge and laughed. "Liar."
He gave a smirk. "Come on, let's go home."
They then walked hand in hand as the blank paper flew though the skies of Konoha.
