Serial Killers

It was early in the afternoon and Goku and the others decided to turn on the news and see what was going on in the world. "In local news," the sexy reporting said in her breathy voice, "a serial killer is on the loose and so far three were found dead and police confirm that it is, in fact, a serial killer," she said showing a little too much cleavage.

"That's terrible why would someone do such a thing?" Chi Chi exclaimed in utter horror.

"There are some really cruel people in the world but I can't believe something like this is happening so close to our home. I always thought it was a relatively safe city," Bulma said as she filled Videl's cup with coffee.

"Cities are hardly ever safe, mom," Trunks said as he sat next to Bulla on the couch.

"Hey, where did dad go?" Gohan asked, looking around the room. Suddenly, a loud noise sounded coming from the other room along with the gentle sound of someone sobbing. The entire group stood up and ran to the source of the sound which seemed to be coming from the kitchen. As they all stepped through the door, they noticed Goku holding all of the boxes of cereal in the house and crying.

"Goku, what's wrong?" Chi Chi asked in a soothing voice as she walked up behind him and laid a hand gently on his back.

"Weren't you listening to the news lady? She said there was a cereal killer on the loose and they already found three boxes dead!" Goku said in between sobs. Everyone beside Chi Chi started to laugh but she stared at her husband in horror at what he said.

"Goku, the lady was saying serial killer as in series or repeated. He killed people not boxes of cereal," she said in an irritated voice.

"Come on, Chi Chi, he just misunderstood what she was saying. It's a common mistake with people these days," Bulma said although she knew no one would confuse the two.

"That's terrible! People are being murdered by other people in our city?" Goku said genuinely upset. "Someone should do something about that!"

"There are people trying to stop serial killers. They're called the cops," Pan said with a laugh.

"Oh good. Well at least no one is trying to kill the cereal. Cereal is too nice to make enemies," Goku said as he cradled the box of cereal. Everyone else in the group sighed and left Goku alone to his cereal and continued watching the news.
