Suzuranko's Challenge (Prince of Tennis Inui Sadaharu) – Forehead
Title: A Simple Gesture
Uta stood by the tennis net, wiping the sweat that had collected on her palm, she had faced a one of her school's Seigaku Regulars not a moment ago. She won, but since practice's end was looming, the others paid no attention to their match. Everyone had left, leaving Uta alone – or so she thought.
Just as Uta was going to pull back the bangs that had fallen out of her headband, a notebook had rested upon her forehead.
Uta's cheeks flushed just as she read the title of the notebook, her light brown hair that was pulled into a ponytail had shifted over her right shoulder as her brown eyes had flinched and then closed.
"Uta-chan," the voice said, causing Uta, if possible, close her eyes even tighter.
The suffix '-chan' was used among close friends, but commonly used among lovers and couples, Uta thought nervously. Inui Sadaharu was defanatly not the one to be overly romantic (much less be romantic at all), but he knew that his simple gesture was enough to make Uta blush. Uta was still adjusting to the fact that Inui Sadaharu was courting her.
"Sa…" Uta was trying to say his name adding the same suffix he had just used with her name, but she was flushing so badly no words came out.
Before she could continue, Sadaharu had removed his notebook from Uta's forehead, replacing the notebook with his lips.
His lips lightly touched her forehead, even though it was the slightest touch, Uta was already stuttering wildly, "Sa-sa-sa…!"
Sadaharu chuckled, removing his lips from her forehead.
Uta's face, red as ever, glanced up to see Sadaharu's bright smile upon his pale face, his glasses shone from the sunlight. Even so, Uta's smile could be seen by Sadaharu.
