It's a rainy Friday afternoon and the end of the day bell rang. All the students swarmed the hallways getting ready to go home.
"He what?" Clare exclaimed putting her hand on her hips.
"Yeah, I heard Imogene asked him out on a date and he said yes!" Ali replied back.
Clare narrowed her eyes to stare at Imogene who was at her locker.
"We'll see about that." And with that thought in mind, Clare marched down the Degrassi hallways, her green bag swinging on her side, to see her ex-boyfriend.
Why should Clare still have feelings for a guy like Eli. Like Jake said so himself, he's a weird guy that writes pays and puts on eyeliner. Plus, she has a total hot boy friend, Jake, who's not a psychopath and treats her right. She enjoys his company and he enjoys hers. But something is just missing without Eli Goldsworty.
Clare visited the auditorium where all the school plays are held. Eli spent most of his time there writing down more plays that come to mind.
Clare arrived in the door way, tapping her foot.
"Eli." She said bluntly.
"Clare?" Eli said with a confused tone.
"So..."
There was a pause.
"So I heard you and Imogene are going on a date to Little !" she blurted out, then covering her hand over her mouth.
Eli smirked.
"Then you heard right, huh? Funny it's like she's obsessed with me, almost begging me to go on a date... but hey! I'll take what I can get." Eli raised his hands and stretched.
Clare looked confused. This is not something Eli would normally say or do...but maybe he actually does like Imogene? The thought scared Clare.
"Then..." Clare said with a frown stepping closer to Eli's personal writing area.
"Then you should've said no." she said almost like a whisper, her voice shaking.
