A/N: This is my own interpretation of what could have happen if Mr. and Mrs. Dursley learned the truth of the Dementor attack on Harry and Dudley as well as my own interpretation of why the Boy Who Lived saved his nasty cousin from a fate worse than death. Also if there is enough reviews asking for it I'll add a yaoi scene between Harry and Dudley as the third chapter.
Disclaimer: If I owned Harry Potter I'd be a forty seven year old British female novelist but I'm not. I'm a twenty year old man trying his hand at FanFiction before trying to become a bestselling novelist like my hero Joanne "Jo" Rowling aka J. K. Rowling.
Vernon Dursley snorted contemptuously at the heavy yellow parchment that immediately told that this was a letter from his freak of a nephew's world. It looked just like the one that had been sent over the summer informing Harry that he had been expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He snatched it up from the pile of mail he had received that morning and made his way to the fireplace to get rid of the stupid thing, but half way there the letter started trembling as if it sensed its fiery fate. Flying from his hand the Howler started speaking:
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dursley I regret to inform you that your nephew Harry James Potter has been acquitted of his charges over the summer as sufficient evidence has been discovered that he and one Dudley Dursley were in considerable danger that forced the accused to use magic to protect himself and your son.
Yours sincerely, Dolores Umbridge:
Vernon let out a deep sigh of relief; he hadn't realized he was holding his breath. Looking over at his wife, who was sitting at the table drinking her morning tea, he said, "Were we wrong about that boy?" Mrs. Dursley didn't know what to say for a moment but finally said that they should have a long talk with their nephew when he came home from school.
