Sorry Sasuke…there won't be a next time… Those were the last words of Uchiha Itachi. A twist on his words from their childhood. Sorry Sasuke, maybe next time… followed by a jab in the forehead and the melodious laughter of an older brother. Now as he remembered those words they brought him pain.
All along he had acted so carefree and happy. He always played the older brother and was nice. To think that underneath the cheerful mast was a face of sorrow of living a double life.
They used him. They used him for their own selfish reasons. For peace? Like hell it was!! The village was peaceful before all this!! They just suspected an Uchiha overthrowing the Hokage! They could have just eliminated the threat!! But nooo! They had to kill Itachi!! And then they go on, saying it was for the good of the country, and how his sacrifice was necessary. Like hell it was!!
Itachi was-he was important!! He was a human!! He was…he was his brother.
Why? Nii-san, why did you go along with it?! Why didn't you save yourself, tell them you didn't want to do it? Sasuke asked in his head again. Because he wanted to protect you. You, the only one he couldn't kill… If he really wanted to protect him he would have lived!! He would have rejected the mission and lived the rest of his life playing with him.
And to think, ever since he was seven he had hated him. The one person that really loved him and he had hated him!!

Sasuke's head snapped up at the imaginary voice.
"N-Nii-san…" He sobbed.
After a while he wiped his eyes. Fear and sadness replaced by determination and hate.
"You were all I cared about, you were my world. I shall avenge you, nii-san. Then I shall follow you…into death…"
