Prologue
"I promise that this will be the last time you'll see me. I won't come back. I won't put you through anything like this again. You can go on with your life without any more interference from me. It will be as if I'd never existed." was the only thing going through my head before I collapsed onto the cold, wet ground.
I faintly remember being wrapped in hot arms and being lifted off the ground. I looked up slightly and my eyes met with my savior's blazing almost black eyes. He had a strong structured nose and a chiseled jaw line. I felt an electric shock go through my body before fainting in his arms.
