(tape starts playing)

":.. Hello, Daniel. I want to play a game. All your life, you've depended on others to get by, never relying on yourself, never having any faith, in yourself. This clinging sensibility has lead others to believe that you are weak, and pathetic, which seems to have become a self-fulfilling prophecy."

(Daniel looks at his self-inflicted wrist wounds)

"But now, the situation has changed. You will be the only means of your survival. You actions dictate your future, and no one else is there to save you. You are the definition of 'alone.' But there is hope.

The game you're playing is simple. The door in front of you has two locks, each requiring a key to open. However, there are many keys scattered around the room you're in, and inserting an incorrect key will result in the door locking forever. To locate the correct keys, all you have to do is look within yourself. You have 5 minutes before the device hooked into your chest and behind your heart rips its' way out, effectively puncturing your organs and replicating the 'mess' you are inside."

5 minutes, starting now, and because I'm feeling generous, here's a hint: Your life, is in your hands. Live or die. The choice is yours. Let the game begin."

Daniel: "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my god, oh my-oh my--...(sobbing) Why? oh my-" (hears ticking)..(stands up with a start) (starts looking frantically around the room)

(he finds a key and almost smiles, but then remembers it could also be the wrong one)

Daniel: "Ohh...How do I know which one?! God..dammit!!!" (keeps it in his hand and starts looking again) "Come on, come on, which fucking...! (throws some keys down, beginning to lose hope)

(he falls to his knees in desolation)

(looks up, sees an envelope on top of a shelf)

(walks over and grabs it, with some difficulty)

(the release of the envelope lets go a tripwire, and the timer begins ticking faster)

2:19...

(the envelope says "Key to Success")

Daniel: "Oh! YES!!" (happy but still distressed, almost smiling in a painful way)

2:15...

(he rummages through it to find...a rusty razorblade) "What? ..What do I do...?"

(remembering Jigsaw's words, "look within yourself...")

2:01...

Daniel: ("your life is in your hands...") Oh no...

1:54...

Daniel: ("Live or Die") (grunts, determined) Hm.

1:50...

(starts cutting into his hands)

Daniel: AAAHHHH!!! YEAarrhagghhH!! MMMMMRRrrmmmAHH!! (gasping, his left hand is bleeding profusely) Huh, Huh...Huh, Aahh!

(cuts some more, takes a really deep cut and rips his hand open, pulls the key out)

ARGGH!! AGHH AHH! (he puts it in the slot, it's correct)

Daniel: (looks at his right hand, looks at his destroyed left hand)

(puts the blade in his mouth and tries to cut his right hand)

Daniel: AARRRR!!(screams, dropping the knife from his mouth onto the floor)

1:03...

Daniel: ARRGHH!! NOO!! (he loses it)

(he chomps into his hand, tearing flesh away with his bare teeth)

MMMMM!!!!! (still keeping his mouth closed)

0:40...

(gets the key out)

Daniel: rrRRAHH!!

(the key falls out onto the floor along with a piece of skin)

(he throws the skin over and picks up the key painfully)

0:25...

Daniel: ERRRRR!! (trying to put the key in, his bloody hands are shaking intensely)

0:18...

"Come...on!!!!"

(fumbling)

0:09...

Daniel: No...no no no no ononooOONO OONOOOOO PLEASE NO

(gets the key in)

SPLAT

(the object busts forth from his chest, the key is only partially turned, but not enough to open it)

(he falls to the ground limp, a shaken, decimated mess of an ex-person)

and the words ring out,

"Game Over."
