A day in the life of Alex: A fan-fiction

NOTE: This isn't a very serious fic.

It was a cool October morning, and Alex had woken up in his bed with a pleasant smile on his face.

"Good Morning, world! Another great day for me!" boomed Alex.

Alex took a shower, got dressed, brushed his teeth, and sprinted downstairs. Alex had been thoroughly enjoying his day of about a minute and a half thus far. Alex had eaten a scrumptious plate of pancakes for breakfast, and was now sitting at his desk, his pen in hand, and had an idea of what he wanted to draw in his mind. It was just then that a horrible fact had dawned on him: He was an abysmal artist. Alex sat at his desk scratching away at his paper, but to no avail. After several countless hours of rejected drawing attempts, he was encompassed by a large pile of crumpled papers. Severely disapointed, Alex's morale was lower than the day when he discovered how magnets worked- and that was saying something! He had now come to a conclusion on how to become a better artist.

"I must go to art school!" Alex exclaimed.

Alex had established that, no matter what the price, he was going to get into nnumerous art training programs and become the finest artist in the history of the world. Alex had sent out applications for every school he could think of, from St. Henry s School for the Artistically Inclined in Ontario, to some free drawing class at the local Recreation center.

Unfortunately for Alex, they only accepted people who had at least a 3% chance of genuinely improving their art, so he was unable to join. Adding insult to injury, each school decided to file a class action restraining order against Alex to prevent him from joining any time in the past, present, or future. The document was placed into a time machine, whisked back 4.6 billion years, stored in a time capsule, and preserved for future use. Alex was incredibly despondent and shocked at this news, so he slumped home and wept.

"Why can t I join any art schools?" sobbed he, making large disturbing hand gestures.

Alex was close to quitting his dream forever when he remembered that he had a DeviantArt account! Alex anxiously drew up a new picture in MS Paint for five seconds and promptly forgot about the whole art school fiasco. The picture was published within seconds, and Alex was smugly content about his work.

"Man, am I a good artist!" Alex thought to himself, as he walked downstairs to play a little Call of Duty on his PlayStation 3.
