She was at the state carnival and she was happy. She was surrounded by everything that could make her happy including Gary. She wanted to go on everything! Especially the scary rollercoaster at the end of the carnival.
"So babe where do you want to go?"
She didn't feel like speaking it was a speech less moment so she pointed towards the funnel cake stand. She was hungry and she didn't want to leave the fair. Where all her problems seemed to disappear. So she walked towards the stand with a skip in her step. Her boyfriend ordered two funnel cakes, one for him and one for the "pretty lady". The baker smiled at how both expressed their love for each other. With every kiss and hug it felt like a dream.
"These funnel cakes are so sweet!"
"Not as sweet as you,babe."
He raised her chin up and planted a kiss on her cheek. Then rubbing off some sugar on her cheek. She giggled at his touch, it tickled her and made her feel like some princess in a fairytale. After finishing their meals they cuddled for a while on the bench and went towards the game stand.
"I'll win you a prize!"
"That's not necessary Gary."
"Oh yes it is."
He grabbed the red ball and hit it at the glasses knocking them all down. She was amazed at his skill and picked out the horse plush they had as one of the prizes. She didn't want to leave she was having the time of her life, and honestly she didn't want it to stop.
"Where to next?"
"The rollercoaster."
They both ran towards it excited they were with each other. They loved each other and everyone near them could tell they would be together forever. The took a seat in the cart right in the front and next to each other. They buckled up and the ride started. She held on to his arm as if they were about to die. Once the ride was over they stepped out and headed home.
"Mandy."
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
And everyone knew it was true.
