It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope

She didnt know how it happened, she didnt care, all that mattered was this damn feeling that wormed its way into her heart. Blue eyes closed as she tried to drift to sleep, yet that feeling haunted her.. Sighing she stood up and left the camp which was illuminated by a soft orange glow from the dying fire.. This disappearing began to become a ritual for her.. she'd leave after her turn on guard duty. Disappear for a few hours and then return, nobody knew what happened to her while she was gone, and nobody had the guts to pry. That ritual she had made her think more and more about that feeling.. soon she began to hope..Lightning didnt hope for much very often. She was used to disappointment, and after her parents she didnt bother anymore.. and yet.. now all of a sudden she was hoping, hoping that that feeling was the same in someone else..

Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

She sighed, even during the day she couldn't get the thought of a single person out of her head.. it was frustrating to the soldier as she began to drift from her alert state of mind.. Someone recognized the change in behavior as Lightning seemed to become more and more frustrated around a certain person's presence. That thought transformed into a word to her, a word that echod in her mind. Love, what was that word really meaning when said? Lightning only knew that for most of her life the only love she had was from her sister who came to her when she was lonesome and didnt have Snow around to keep her company

And then that word grew louder and louder
Till it was a battle cry

The word echoed in her mind for may days as their lives ticked away. They all were time bombs, they'd all end up alone after their focus was complete. Why did the word end up screaming itself into her ear when she knew better? One such night the pent up feelings however poured out, fears, dark secrets.. they all poured from her eyes..

I'll come backWhen you call me
No need to say goodbye

She didnt notice the presence that placed itself beside her.. not until she felt a pair of arms wrap around her shaking frame and hold her closely. Lightning at first didnt know what to do.. or who it was.. she inhaled a shaky breath... whoever it was smelled like the earth with a slight exotic flair to it.. Fang. The huntress held the soldier tightly as Lightning began to squirm and kick, insisting that she let her go. Fang ignored it until the struggling stopped and she felt the soldier go limp.. It was then the soldier spilled everything to Fang. Tears poured.. Fang only held her silently until she was finished speaking, "I'll come back, No need to say goodbye sunshine"
