Skirmish

I looked around absorbing the scene of the battle I was in trenchs in our standard entire composeing of a grey Duster like uniform With a with a chest piece made out of cheap plastoid with cheap shin guards and gauntlets and with a simple tricone helmet some with goggles.
"John! mount the blaster cannon we need suppressing fire on these kriffing Bastards!" Shouted Captain Hughes who was Lieutenant John Cath's Captain. John immediately started at a brisk pace for the blaster cannon, Private! Check that postion!" He called to the Private
"WHOMP""WHOMP"
The enemy's artillery laid fire on the weary attack battalion
John knew that mounting the blaster cannon was certain death there was no shield on it instead the army took it off to cut prices.
He after pushing the dead soldier off the blaster cannon quickly grasped the handels of the blaster cannon and drew fire on the person who was giveing orders. The man fell to the ground with multiple blaster bolts in the chest John then rotated it cutting down any foolish enough to be about. At that moment a old CIS Hellfire droid flew past him lighting the Enemy troops up while also sending some missles there way.
In a quick moment most of the enemy was dead. John grabed his blaster musket and went back to his company. There was Captain Hughes along side team medic Selene Traverse and Heavy trooper Dak Gunter.
After makeing his way over there
"How did we do Captain?" he asked
"Pretty damn good i would reckon considering they had at least two tanks beaten ones up at that In the beginning, You at that Blaster canon most certainly saved are asses untill that Hellfire Droid arrived."
"So that was what you were saying about back up?" Asked Selene
"Aye, that and two companys worth of Battle Droids which are no where here." Replied the captain
"What is out next move?" said Dak
"Until i got more orders we move up and make camp a ways up, word is that the General is geting Imperial support against the goverment."
"Why the hell would the Imps want to established a connection to this place, We have been fighting this war before the clone wars and no one wanted to help us then." Said John
"I could not tell you son untill i know, The three of you go find Private Dave dangro the new guy."
At once the three soldier replied
"Sir yes Sir."
The three split up at once looking for the Private.
"John!, Selene!, I think i found him!" Said Dak
The Three walked over seeing a corpse of a young man not even nineteen yet with his legs blew off right beside him with a musket with a bayonet attached sticking out of his throat.
"Damn it." Selene said breaking the silence
"Kriffing hell, I will go inform the Captain you two go Bury him then set up your tents take a bath and get some sleep after geting rations." Commanded The Lieutenant
"Sir yes Sir!" The two proceeded to pick up the destroyed body of the young Private and John proceeded to go find Captain Hughes
he just shakes his head while walking
"How am I going to Explain this."
